  • Basheer Zaheer reviews why the 2013 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 litre V8 is the better engine and car to have over the V6 with 3.0 litre engine.
The Range Rover (L405) is a mid-size to full-size luxury 4x4 / sport utility vehicle, made under the Land Rover brand by Jaguar Land Rover. It is the fourth generation of the original, main Range Rover series. It uses an all-aluminium monocoque unitary body structure, instead of the third generation's steel unibody - making it the first production 4x4 to do so, resulting in a weight reduction of 420 kg (926 lb) compared to its predecessor.

I like your point on how most v8 buyers speced their cars...very true....
Instead of worrying about oil pumps, bearings and timing kits in the v6 I would rather just worry about turbos in the v8

The v6 is just not worth the headache or the poor spec. Fuel efficiency difference is tiny as well

@@InvictusMotors How about the 5.0 SC engine? Is it as reliable as this 4.4?

I love mine, which is also a 2013. I go everywhere at under 1,500 rpm. My only upgrade is a gadget that gives me Apple CarPlay.

@@reallynotpcCan you share the gadget you mentioned for the AppleCar play? Is it plug n play?

@@zaytunaa Sorry, but I can’t remember the details. I located it online and asked Oxford Car Audio to fit it. LR satnav no longer works , and the Nav button now brings up the CarPlay screen when my phone is plugged in. It has been trouble-free. Total cost in early 2019 was £900-ish.

but ended up paying approx 15000pounds as the insurance company chose offbrand workshop - 2013 mod - the crank snapped - so got new engine and new turbos - still love it though

Ohh that’s very unfortunate. Are you sure it £45k for an engine? Must be one of the most expensive engines in the world

Are you sure you have the V8 as the crank snapping issue is the V6 engine from Peugeot Citroen.

The v8 are much better and for the price it is hard to get a luxury suv like it
