- I travelled all the way to a tiny island in the Atlantic Ocean to photograph a small forest. It is a very special forest, though.

Many of those trees looked like characters in a play. It didn't take too much imagination for the tree at 9:05 to be an opera diva with a huge headdress in full flight. Great images.
Thank you for showing that photography is not just a 'Kodak Moment', but a carefully crafted process of identifying, viewing and creating.
the wait is worth it
Heavenly, thank you.
Breath taking!!
You could feel how genuine that, "this is Heaven" was. It was like a kid at Christmas. So happy you got the experience this!
Remarkable. You must have the world's most patient partner!
outstanding images and a wonderful experience thank you!
Definitely love the photo of the tree you used for the thumbnail, the way you framed it makes it personified
Fantastic images, it was definitly worth the effort. I would never have the patience to focus on one spot on an island interesting like Madeira. And you're the only photografer who shoots a Rainbow in b/w and it still looks great...
Magical location and you are really persistant :) ... Rachel must be thrilled :)
This one was great ! These tree's were awesome and with fog too ! What more could you have asked for ? Beautiful place and gorgeous photos. Must have been too much fun ! Jealous as hell !
My most favorite video so far ! LarryMac
I am so excited for you. This video is just pure poetry.
Most beautiful work i have ever seen of this location. Superb🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Everything about this video is absolutely wonderful.
Wonderful video! Amazing forest 'adventure'!
Thanks Adrian! Not much to say, your images do the talking. This place is magical in fog and rain. Definitely I put it on my "bucket list". Have fun creating!
Hope you felt welcomed in Portugal again 🇵🇹🇪🇸
Greetings to Rachel.
Stunning video as always.
I've no skill of photographing, but I like your storytelling, your emotional expression while holding a camera and happily walk around to capture the images. The trees in the fog were so magical. It' such a peaceful moment.
A lesson to all photographers to embrace the weather and adapt to shooting in those conditions.
What an astoundingly beautiful location. It's like a fairy story brought to life. I guess the job of deleting 'failed' images must have taken days of work.
I hope you publish a book of this trip. I would like to buy it.
Thank you for another very inspiring video.
Amazing shots 🤩🤩🤩
Haunting, and eerily beautiful.
I have enjoyed many of your videos, but this is a special one I think this is the best video I have seen this year. Wonderful!
Thank you for sharing this with us Adrian, a magical place indeed.
Mind blowing !
Your persistence paid off.
Well done, Adrian. 👍😍
Great work 👏👏👏👍🙏
Stunning place and stunning images, love your persistence and enthusiasm.
A place I’ve been longing to go for quite sometime and you did it in style and in full wetness ⛈😂 A series of wonderful images and excitement. Thanks Adrian, cracking watch as always.
happy man! Its great!
Just wonderfull :)
*piano music starts playing* - instant-sub 😀
Beautiful!
Thanks for these photos.
This was a superb video. One of your best. Beautiful photographs.
Excellent video! I absolutely love it.
fantastic place, gorgeous/stunning images, you are truly gifted...love this video
I admire so much your commitment to do what you set up ur mind to do. Definitely worth it. The time u spent there, even without fog was well worth, because u had time to explore and find the most amazing tree shapes (the human shape one is my fav.) and best spots. I loved all ur photographs. I was there just last month, I as a photographer and my partner as a traveler who wants to make the most out of our time and see as many things as possible when going somewhere. So, I only had 2 h to spend there, and I remember reading about it and how u don't always get the fog, and I started manifesting on my way up, that I will get the perfect condition. lol. It was like nothing I experienced in my life. Don't know if it's because I'm such a forest lover or not, but it felt spiritual almost. Like I could sense some things I've never sensed before. It was strange. Best place I've been to and def wanna go back and explore more.
i love it bro .very nice
Well done love it when you get your goal
Love the black and white shots, I thinks 14:07 that's my favorite.
Wonderful video!
meidera is one of the beautiful place, for me going there is not a waste of time.
Nice project ! I can relate to your quest having visited sites like Jökulsárlon, Landmannalaugar and Kerlingarfjöll in Iceland where my memorycards filled up quickly while camerabattery drained fast...
Amazing place and amazing pictures! We are now preparing for Madeira, we want to go there too, would you like to know where exactly it is located, where did you park the car?
I especially like the wonderfully shaped tree at 14:00, where are we looking for it?
Your videos and channel are so underrated
That's funny, this feels very similar to my experience. I was there the same time and did the same, waiting and waiting for the fog to finally hit. We should have crossed paths someday ;-)
🦋🦋🦋
Incredible images. Adrian, can you tell me how you organized your stay there? Where did you stay for the week, hotel or B and B? A place to dine in? Would be very appreciated to know the approximate prices for the stay and dining. Thank you in advance.
Just beautiful! So mystical
Thats great I have subscribed the 20$ package
Isn’t it called Faial and not Fanal? Anyway great vídeo as usual
Every single frame of the video, since the fog came down, was a masterpiece. But photo in b/w lost most of the magic :(
It's a beautiful place. I understand about the lack of color, but I just love monochrome photography.
I find it ridicolous to expect specific weather conditions for a particular location. This way you are just following a cliche. You should instead make the most of what the weather and the location have to offer.
