- French and Saunders read (and barely get through) a poorly translated Hungarian interview with Madonna, allegedly re-retranslated for USA Today. Originally aired on BBC2's French and Saunders show.
- Komedie
I listen to this a few times every year. Kills me each time. Their giggling is the best part.
I do that too! It's so infectious, really uplifting. x
max. demp I’ve listened to it many times and laugh hard every single time and they hate Madonna which makes it even better
max. demp indeed they are awesome I laugh every time I listen😂
it's very hilarious.
@@survivor648 F&S don't hate Madge, they're massive fans. That's one of the reasons why their parodies of her are so good; they're not just taking cheap potshots, they know lots about her and her music.
Oh my actual God. My happy brain chemical levels are probably record shattering; the pain from the neck down is staggering. I am sweaty and teary. I loved this beyond measure.
"In America it is not considered to be mentally ill when a woman advances on her prey in a discotheque setting with hardy cocktails present."
I love how Jennifer used the "I am a woman not a test mouse" part on twitter
I haven't laughed so much in a long time. "no problem, friend who is a girl!"
The best idea I had today: listen again to this awesomely funny radio show.
Jennifer's laugh!! 😂
Lets cut to the hunt, I'm currently listening to this about three times a day!
Anyone still listening to this? I bloody love it!
I'm walking down the street and listening to this and I can't stop laughing
"I'm a tip top starlet."
This is a joke I have made.
This made me laugh so bad and this girl saw me laughing to myself and gave me the weirdest look LMFAO
Like many, I revisit this interview a few times a year. It is a medicin to the soul! :-))
"Not in Hungary. Here it was called 'Slut'" hahahahahhaah
A simply beautiful piece of broadcasting. A rare moment where comedy is hugely funny, with no victims! Though it does beg questions as to how accurate the oft-translated religious texts are...
2:13 Test Mouse! Haaahaaaa!! Pure Class ;))
these made xmas and new year so much better this year
Lmao, thank u for posting this, I love these two so much!
"What is up in the air with you? Evita never was winning a Grammy!" ... this is almost too quotable.
Great tonic for cheering you up.😂 love French & Saunders.
this is in my top 5 of the funniest things i have EVER heard
"In America is it is not considered to be mentally ill for a woman to advance on her prey in a discotheque" . . . LMAO!! Thank you Stephen Fry for sending me here, best laugh(s) of the week!

Never fails to cheer me up 😂
Every time I listen to this I crack up. Never gets old.
I was crying listening to this. I can't remember ever crying from laughing! My God, I needed that laugh! Thanks!
Please someone... upload their full BBC radio programs. They were on youtube once before and the channel was deleted.
I'm in stitches! Hilarious. Crying and laughing at the same time . Wonderful sketch. Oh get back you two, and give us some more of that comic genius. C.J
My stomach hurts from laughing. Hysterical!

Power, money, tasty food - all these elements are afoot
"Like a Prayer" is just hitting the airwaves in Hungry.
I love their laughing!!
OMG LOVE IT.
Today I learned Eva Peron had Grammys and tasty food!
Oh, my! Now I have to find the "original" Hungarian text... Also, congrats to the translators! XD
(By the way, Blikk is the Hungarian equivalent of The Sun.)
They are BRILLIANT!
Ah, the glorious mysteries of language! Priceless!
Let's cut towards the hunt--this is the funniest thing I've ever heard! This version much funnier than the 2 actors who read the same interview in front of Madonna herself on Graham Norton. French & Saunders are at their MOST hilarious here.
This is brilliant!
OMG HAHAHAH... this is HILARIOUS! And even more funny hearing them laugh so hard while reading it!!
I had to pause this half way through because I was about to pee myself from laughing so much! Hahahahaha they are the funniest 2 in the world!!
that...was fantastic.
Let's cut to the hunt: It's the funniest thing ever!
I can't stop listening to this.
'no problem friend who is a girl' -this is hilarious! Serves madonna right for refusing to work with them all these years!
Hysterical!!
LMAO!!! Always have loved French and Saunders...this is hilarious!! Love, love it!!
I so agree! THAT was a RIOT, especially that Andrea Riseborough really imitated her so well! And my Queen seemed to love it, too!
Amazing
DO NOT listen to this at work, you'll get fired or be sent to a mental hospital
Too funny!! My checks hurt from laughing!! Wish I was there!
@symbolt F&S did a week of BBC radio shows around the New Year where they bantered and played their favorite songs
Stunning! We've discovered the Rosetta stone and comedy is no longer hard: Hugarian.
This was hilarios!! :) ( Was that a google translator?? lol. I'm from Hungary btw :D )
Hungarian is my first language but I was born in California, so this is just that much more especially funny to me 😂

This was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!
@kitsch2spacea Me too!Love Mark Gatiss and this clip is greatxx
That ‘Hungarian translated interview’ was read by James D'Arcy and Andrea Riseborough, in MADONNA's presence at The Graham Norton Show. She was actually amused by it.
Brilliant, so funny
I´m dying...
This is one of the funniest things I've ever heard
Just like Adam and Joe's humor! good banter!
That made me laugh so much I just puked! "I am a woman, not a test-mouse!"
Lmao! I love this! :)
@cnccarving Looks like we've found that translator! >:D
Stephen Fry is the man!
David Morrisey's retweet of Mark Gatiss tweet sent me here. Thank you. And I'm glad I saw this before I ate my lunch, my sides are aching, 'are you in good odour.'
'so it is a scientific fact that a baby was made in my womb, using him.' HAHA I wish there was a channel where people spoke English like this.
Oh no they didn't, friend who is a girl!
This made me cry laughing
These women read Madonna to absolute filth😂😂😂✋🏻
Ahh, the wonders of Hunglish! :) Crying with laughter :DDDDD
(For the record: Blikk = The Sun)
what is up in the air with the 5 people who disliked this?!
sounds like they done it perfectly :p
@pebsdad When was that? Is there an online archive I could listen to it at?
This is one of the funniest things I have ever heard.
Oh and Madonna is the Queen!!
Hey where is this from? I am hankering for more French & Saunders!
hahahahahahaha
Awesome - I was laughing away with them
Oh my gosh.. well, I'm Hungarian... but I can't imagine what it was originally... but knowing the 'high standards' of Blikk... nothing good...
Lmao
@uwebvarga Hah! It all makes sense now.
This is so funny.
LMFAO
WHAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?!?!
