Today, I am going to guide you in getting the best out of PSX/Playstation/PS in Batocera by using a core very similar to Duckstation - this is Swanstation. We take a look at the bios files required and setting up video settings to have the games that you own looking fantastic and up to 4k in resolution.

Hey. Just enter retroarch and find the disc option to change discs. It's that simple.
very helpful guide ! the only problem with swanstation is that geometric correction missing, the upper hand of duckstation 😅

Hiya just jaime, for some reason all my ps1 games wont work apart from metal gear solid, keeps bringing me back to menu

Hey Jamie any tips on how to fix audio and game stutter on swan station? I have followed you video but I am still getting audio stutter and lag when navigating around a game

Hey Jamie thank you for getting back to me I noticed this on some games but not on all of them it's like the game is in slow motion the name of the game is Fifa 99 I have copied this off my original copy of disc other disc rips are playing as they should I have changed my audio driver but it's still in slow motion I have installed batocera onto a raspberry PI 3b+ not too sure if you can advise me any future please cheers
All FIFA's and Need for speed Electronic Art games seem to be loading up and playing the game in slow motion using the Swan station emulator this is before I change any settings from the video you did for us to follow
Try and use a different video driver in Retroarch - Swan Station is a Retroarch core.@@technikalfaqs
Cheers Jamie but it's still playing in slow motion after changing the drivers for audio and video it's a baffling thing because when I set the emulator to auto it is loading at normal speed not to sure where I am going wrong but thank you for getting back to me about this 👍🏻
So this has nothing to do with this specific psx but i tried installing retrobat and it just won’t load after the video intro. And when i try to open a game it freezes. I have installed all the drivers and directx and this started happening after I installed my gpu drivers. Any idea what i can do? I dont want to do a fresh install of windows just for retrobat to work.
why ask here? it's like me asking for a cake recipe in a car service channel.
So I have my ROMs loaded and they run when I go into the file manager and run duckstation but it doesn't show in the main menu. Also it doesn't recognize my PS4 controller. Any help is much appreciated

@@JustJamie1983Yes I have as well as updated game collections. The PlayStation section doesn't appear on the main menu. The controller works in main menu but not in duckstation.

I finally got it running and everything. But now when playing jetmoto when it goes from over ground to over water it completely loses its mind. The rider says on screen but it all goes blue and I can move but it's like I sink and there is no water surface

You will need a keyboard.
If you have. Amd it has no functio keys. It will need a combo. Probs FN+1

Batocera supports CHD extensions.
