That was a great video and you taught about the belt tensioner tool. I'm replacing my alternator and serpentine belt. They were also suggesting I replace the tensioner as well. Is that necessary you think. 🤔
I used my same tensioner, I would only replace if necessary. No need to replace unless the old one is bad but couldn’t hurt if you decide to

He's just showing a feature, you are reading into this way to much dude
If you flip them up without putting them in service mode, you risk scratching the car from pants or keys or the hood with the wiper. It’s always better to complete it the way the manufacturer recommends. Just trying to inform and hope it helps out.

Nice. Didn't know I needed to pry from the front. Almost broke the edge of the plastic below the switches by prying from there, lol. All those people saying to remove the entire door liner on that forum are insane.

Mine just started that on off low pressure msg after an oil change with cheap 5w30( free oil change at work) so i Ordered liquid moly 5w40 hope the oil pressure level will be ok with the thicker one
Hopefully, if not, this sensor did the trick for my car.
Good job…..really not that difficult if you have any common sense at all. Just did alternator, belt tensioner and belt. Repair shop wanted $900 for just the alternator…..bought all three parts from Rock Auto for $320. don’t be fooled.

It’s quite possible, I ended up getting one with a stage 2 tune. That’s what really pulls the performance out of the new piece.
Might get one of these for my mk5 R32. Should be the same procedure hopefully. Thanks for the clear and concise video!
