Medically managed miscarriage is not traumatic and not horrible the fear mongering online is wrong. However at the size of 6.4 weeks there is no viability at that size without a heartbeat at this size this info is even available online they shouldn’t have led you on and they are just following the damn heartbeat laws which is typical politician led scum . I went through this three times myself and I told him to stop playing with me and give me the damn medication.

You need to report her. If she actually came out and said specifically that it is Hospital policy not to video births then maybe that would be different but she is rude and has a terrible attitude. Of course she is going to deny knowing that she bumped your phone but hee attitude and demeanor is rude

I'm a retired nurse and I usually understand why things are done ; I think the nurse is being rude. This is a special day and a happy day for the family. If the policy is don't record I understand but her attitude and demeanor is wrong. I get she's busy, but she just acted rude. THIS PATIENT NEEDS TO REPORT THIS NURSE. But follow up and make sure that they did something about her.

Ppl have been recording births SINCE A MOBILE RECORDER WAS INVENTED! Idc liability or not, they should also respect ppls right to record such things. No reason that any labor and delivery nurse/doc would even WANT to stop a person from capturing these moments. Only obvious reason is if THEY’RE the liability in my most humble opinion. 🙂

Many of them live their job but the majority are there like they are forced to work... They are rude n unkind. That's not a job for that kind of people You are dealing with patients You need to be lovely.

I would have whooped that chic after I was done!! I would've been praying for forgiveness after the fact!! I recorded my son's birth, I had my very outgoing gay cousin holding the camcorder- it was back in 2005, no one said anything else past saying that we weren't allowed to record. I was not going to miss the opportunity to see my baby take his first breath. I had several people in the room with us also. I bet hospital staff was like what is this a party? Yes, we were respectful, but watching your child take their first breath of life is amazing and I wanted to share it. I am so sorry that you all dealt with this stuff from staff. They forget they are paid staff, not royalty or rulers, not the owner or the boss.

There have been 4 classes that I've had to take in college addressing patient care and having sympathy towards patients and their families. She doesnt belong there.

I had nurses judge me because i was 16 having a baby and her father wasnt there because he was in the military. They almost killed my daughter then blamed me for it and tried to get dcs involved until i went to the head of the hospital and explained to her everything changed within 2 hours of going to him.

She was just a bitch. Even if it wasnt allowed, she had no right to keep slamming his phone down by slinging the table around. However, policies are usually posted and gone over and when people constantly ignore things like this it can make you a bit cynical. Almost like cops and people breaking known laws. Also, some nurse may not want to be filmed and that is their right as well. However, she could have handled it as a professional that she is supposed to be.
