We found a cozy little shack in Likir Village via airbnb. The highlights being limitless space to roam around, room heaters and running water which is very rare to find during winter in Ladakh. We fell in love with this space and flew there in the next possible date (Jan 26, 2022). Stayed there for 2 days and it was nothing less than a dream. Just before the Covid Second Wave, we were lucky enough to get a chance to sneak out to Kodaikanal for two days amid border restrictions. We got reservation in a decent hotel @KodaiResortHotel , Near Coaker's Walk. കാർഗിൽ വരെ കുറച്ച് മോശം റോഡ് ആയിരുന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ പോകുമ്പോൾ. കാർഗിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ വളരെ നല്ല റോഡ് ആണ്. ഇപ്പൊൾ മഞ്ഞ് വീണു തുടങ്ങിയിട്ടും ഉണ്ടാവും.

@@jofis007 Yes, every year the roads open by April-May depending on the weather. It is already open now. By the end of August you can expect snowfall. June-July are usually spring season there, so it will be the most comfortable temperature. Happy Journey! 😊
