Jemille: now, this mirror is a magic mirror and it'll show you anything, anything you wish to see. why don't you say something to it? Jane: Ok. Magic mirror? please? please may i see my father please? (The magic mirror shines at jane and jemille and alex and marie and it shows maurice reading his letter to her and marie and alex after he finishes writing it). Maurice: dear jane and alex and marie i how are you? i hope you had a such good time with jemille and the sevants but please you have to listen to me signor stromboli and his gang are too risky to keep you around them in the mansion anymore, because they ordered me to bring you back here, and as your father i command you to come back to the village. (Jane and Jemille and Marie and Alex Gasp). Alex and Marie: grandpa?! Jane: Daddy? Oh no, Daddy! something's wrong, he's asking us to come home tonight, and he said stromboli is still after us. Jemille: Well than you must go to him. Jane: what? what did you say? Jemille: i said you should go to him, you just can't leave him anymore. Jane: you mean we just have to go home today? Jemille: oh yes jane, you mean far more to him than that. Jane: oh, jemille, oh, thank you. hold on daddy, we're on our way.

Guy: *Hates the idea of a musical in the beginning* Also the guy: *starts singing about it*

Jane and Jemille the musical. Jemille: Jane? Marie? Alex? I... Jane: Yes, i'm here, we're all here. Jemille: Uh. (Alex and Marie crying) (Jane sobbing): oh no, no, please please don't leave us, don't die jemille, please don't die! come back, please? come back! i love you. (Marie sobbing): i love you too Jemille. (Alex sobbing): me too. (Jane, Marie and Alex cry all together as the jemille's maids and butlers and housekeepers watch them and all cry together). (Jane and her kids Marie and Alex continue sobbing and their tears with magic sparkles fall upon his wounded arm where stromboli shot with his gun the magic tears with sparkles clear his wounded arm and jemille is alive again).

Jemille! (Jemille fights Stromboli again on the rooftop before Stromboli tries to kill him some more then Stromboli falls off the roof to his death). Stromboli: hey Jemille what’s happening?! (And he pours hot tea out of the teapot and the tea lands gets head and it burns him up). Gideon: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! OH OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW! Stretch the butler: Take that you scoundrel! Franklin the adviser: And take this you fool, that'll teach you to kill our master, jemille. (And then franklin the adviser wacks gideon with a fireplace shovel and gideon lands hard on floor and franklin the advisor walks away). Gideon: Hey, Where is everybody? where did they go?

Jane and Jemille the musical. Doctor Darque: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Edgar the butler: Geronimo! (Edgar the butler punches doctor darque in three times). Doctor Darque: ow ow ow! Edgar the butler: yeah I got you now! (The coachman running as Estelle the maid and Cecile the maid and Annette the maid and Helene the maid chase him around the mansion with cooking pots with handles). (They pant and then on a wild chase in the mansion again). Crenshaw the butler: hey you, hey you! Up there! Gideon: huh? (Crenshaw the butler jumps off of the bottom steps of the staircase and beats him up with his black umbrella). Gideon: HEY! OW YOW! OUCH! OOOOOH!

Jane and Jemille the musical. Eleanor the maid: YEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! Wait! say, you know, you're kinda cute. Leopold the bartender: Ah HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhahaha. Fredrick the butler: ah ha ha ha ha, Here, Take this! Leopold the bartender: AH AH AH, (Fredrick the butler: Swings the chimney sweep broomstick with black dirty soot on it and hits leopold like golf club and leopold flies up in the air like a firework and lands on the chandelier). (Leopold the bartender Screaming): AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! OOAH!, I can't believe you've got dirty, in black soot in the fireplace! (Fredrick the butler and eleanor the maid laugh happily together and quickly kiss as they walk away with the dirty chimney sweep broomstick Leopold the bartender: Wait til Stromboli gets a load of you! Ah ha ha ha ha!

YES!!! I've been in three productions of this show, and this is the first time I've seen the "Ran out of tin" gag done *CORRECTLY!* In the ones I was in, they always had the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman look at each other, grin, and say it together as a "Big Joke." I cringed backstage every single time.

nineteen years ago in on saturday june 3rd 2004 when i was twelve years old on my birthday weekend and my parents and my sister and i stayed at the plaza hotel the home of eloise on fifth avenue in new york city and eighteen years ago november 2005 when i was thirteen years old i saw disney's beauty and the beast on broadway at the lunt fontanne theater in new york city i saw grant norman on stage but he played gaston in 2004 and 2005 before 2006 was the last time he played gaston on stage.
