Until I had watched that helmuted jellyfish for awhile, I never stopped to consider a jellyfish's life is one of constant movement. I've always admired the grace & fluidity w/o realizing the implications of that movement.---That amazing cameraman, imagine catching that spider!

What a life for the male dragon fish.. he's way smaller than the female and has no teeth, no chin barbel and no gut!! He can't eat so he mates and dies.. job done!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Mother Nature can be so cruel at times! 😆 Wonderful footage and music.. such a treat with so many fantastic uploads of late.. Amazing video of the Lord's deep sea beauties. The chimaera especially the one with the black fins has me glaring at the screen. The crinoid looks like a feather star. The sea spider real camouflaged itself. I love the deep black color of the dragonfish imagine seeing a group of them. I always love the cutlass fish love to see a group of them also. The cutlass fish looks like a shimmering glimmering needle. I enjoyed the video 💯💯🇹🇹🇹🇹

Another great video -- with Chimeras! And such cute and cooperative ones at that. #1 has those pectoral and pelvic fins working like a Dragonfly. BTW, anyone know what that, presumably cartilage, spine aft is for, if anything? Oddly, there are some squid with structures that look just like that.

A dragonfish is a rare treat. Looks like it’s lure glows purple. I spent my childhood wondering how the more monstrous deep sea fishes would look like alive, but in reality they are often tiny, camouflaged as darkness and just try to remain inconspicuous. And every feature but the head and teeth are comically dinky.

Arrowhead dogfish should be called the borzoi dogfish.

Have you added multiband compression or otherwise enhanced the audio? The music seems “punchier” somehow, with deeper, more defined bass and overall better definition. Nothing has changed at my end. Same 40” HDTV, same sound system. Whatever it is, keep it up! It adds immeasurably to the enjoyment of this old musician and sound engineer. Thank you.

Shinning light there for those creatures must be as astounding to them as if someone would lower a rainbow for us to touch and walk on. That is if their underdeveloped eyes could adjust to such light.
