@@OvidiuCuiesdean I had imagined they located into something behind the plastic panel. When you pulled on them is simply brute force, just pulling the panel off its clips all at once? I’d hate to snap any of the clips and not be able to replace the panel! (Thanks for replying on a 6 year old video by the way!)
@@instantsquid, no worries mate :). There was only the pulling you see in the video and it is very important to pull both extractors at the same time. Anyway keep that in mind that your car got some years now and the clips are not new anymore ;).

Hi Ovidiu. I know this vidio is already years old. But i can't find any other good examples of the rear camera on the dacia lodgy. I have a Dacia Lodgy and installed a new car radio. Now i need to rewire the camera to work on the new radio. Can you help me point out what wire has what function? Thanks in advance.
Hi. There it is: Yellow and the shield cable goes to composite video signal (yellow to core and shield to shield); Black goes to GND; Red goes to reverse signal. Please let me know if you need any more info: tech.support@falcon.ro. Cheers!

salut, am un stepway 2 (2015) cu veriunea 4.0.3; luat camera d p aliexp; cum pot activa (cabluri/mufe furnizate) camera folosind doar test mode coduri (d p display medianav) -daca se poate, ca ar fi niste video care par a indica ca e posibil dar pt versiuni mai actuale- ?
Salut, noi nu avem nevoie sa folosim coduri pentru activare, ci doar testerul DIAG de la Dacia. Sorry.

Hello 👋 Can you please tell me on the reverse pin 2 and 3 what colors are the cables .? I have the same model and medianav version and only want to know what colors are the cables on the reverse pin 2 and 3 so I can connect my cables (red and black coming from my camera ) ? Thanks a lot
At Dacia, the colors can vary from one batch to another, that's why it's best to check them yourself. Remove the connector, and you will see that their numbering is written right on the connector. Good luck!

Hello 👋 One question please . On the right rear stop light connector ,did you connect the red cable to pin 2 and black cable to pin 3 ( ground )? Also is this for the medianav the original ? Thank you 🙏
Hi, Yes, this is the original MediaNAV and this is the official installation method for the original supplied rear view camera. Actually there were two MediaNAV models for this Duster model (H79): - The older one and the installation is made as shown in this video: Red to pin 2 and black to ground; - And the MediaNAV Evolution that require a different set of connections where all the Camera wires are connected to the MediaNAV and ONLY if the unit is not supplied with reverse signal, a connection is made between that pin 2 from the rear right connector and the MediaNAV. Also this type require a 6V camera. You can identify your MediaNAV type as follow: Engage the reverse gear --> the display switches to the rear camera --> get the reverse off --> if the MediaNAV is displaying the rear camera for the additional 7 seconds after the reverse gear was switched off, you got the MediaNAV Evolution.

Just follow the procedure: 1. Press and hold the "f" button for 8 seconds. Note: If Car 2 mode is on, ignore the Car Select beep after 3 seconds. 2. Wait for the Transmit LED to light solid and the remote to beep. Release the "f" button. 3. Press the RS button for 1 second. The transmit LED will blink 3 times and beep 3 times. 4. Within 5 seconds, press and hold the "Lock" button. 5. The vehicle siren will chirp. You have now successfully learned the remote to the vehicle remote start and security system. Release the "Lock" button. 6. Press the "f" button two times to exit learn routine on the remote. The transmit LED will turn off and exit tone will sound.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with that. Only thing I can recommend, is to install this Ford DashCam. It's more expensive, but there's a reason for that. Actually more than one :). Cheers!

Hi, I do not recommend to connect anything else beside this particular DVR here. This DashCam have a particular behavior and a very low current draw in stand by - under 0.1mA.

Salut, DVR-ul se poate comanda la orice reprezentanta Ford (product number: 2421817). Instalarea a fost facuta de mine, doar ca orice reprezentanta va instala DVR-ul in acelasi fel - asa zice manualul de instalare. Toate bune! Si multzam de apreciere :)!

What multimedia would you recommend? I don't have any in my Duster, so if I was to mount a rear camera, I would also need to get multimedia first.
A dedicated one would be recommended, but do not choose a cheap one :).

Yes, there is something better: - 8201735449 if the car got light and rain sensor, or - 8201739626 if the car do not have that sensors. Cheers!

@@kamryn7496, That's why is not working: the two , 350 and 7945 are not compatible. Give me the RPN from your current working remotes, or from the Control Center (antenna) and I can recommend you some compatible remotes.

Thank you for the appreciation, mate! The MediaNav is just the same. Only problems will be with the camera bracket, which will not fit and the camera angle/ installation height, which is different.

Era de nota 10 daca si suflai cu compresorul lantul dupa curatare. raman multe particule intre zale care se pot indeparta usor cu aer.
Da, daca ai compresor :)). Oricum dupa ce freci cu peria, C1 curata bine reziduurile.
Caută kitul de întreținere lanț de la Kettenmax ! Numai te complici cu peria aia și stropești tot ! Plus că peria nu ia toată mizeria de pe lant, se vede ...
