My name is Jenna, but my fans call me Floaty. I have been a visual artist since I can remember, back to my childhood. I have utilized tools I never thought I would learn how to use in my artistic endeavors. However, it wasn’t until October of 2020 that I worked up the courage to try out a tattoo machine and teach myself how to use it. With my background in the medical field and the help of my husband, who is an engineer, we have dissected what makes tattoo machines work most safely and effectively.

What’s a good sample box to buy like I wana try round liners and round shaders. I never really used curved mags or mags lol

Thanks for the reviews, they help a lot, but I’m still indecisive, in your opinion what’s the best option for blackwrok? Between F3 - F8 - F5. I had try a fold pro, and love it, but I’m a bit on a budget right now, that’s why I’m considering this machines from yilong. Or would you recommend another brand, in that price rate?
@@ganblind happy to help! I recommend the F8 for anyone on a budget, it is my back up machine, it has a very powerful motor in it and is the best option for black work.

I would like to be a tattoo artist but I don't know how to draw. Do Amazon machines work for practice? I'm Dominican and professional machines are very expensive here. Do those from Amazon help?
Please learn how to draw first, you will spend sooooo much more money trying to learn how to draw by practicing tattooing. Yes these machines work great for practicing. But again please learn to draw, just spend your money on pen/pencil and paper for at least a year learning how to draw everyday before you even start practicing tattooing.

I’m sorry to hear that, no I haven’t had any issues with shipping from them. Usually their support is good, sometimes they don’t answer between Friday-Sunday and will get back Monday.

It works for the first couple of times you get the clogs, but with this printer it did eventually stop working because I did not print from it often enough. The Canon printer does seem to be working better and longer than this one and it has a replaceable print head.

@@kursedaim it has a silicone grip on it, we have actually developed our own new silicone grips that work even better.

Is it still going well after a few months? This seems to tick all of the boxes for me, I was looking at Bishops but as a beginner, want to try all of the. Stroke lengths.

Query, is the motor brushless, or am I wrong, is it comparable to the motor of the Bronc v12?
I do believe it is a brushless motor, it runs very smoothly with low vibration, it is not as powerful as the V12 motor. For around the same price as this one the Yilong F8 has a much stronger motor.
Make a video on skin.. what to look for to know it's had enough, signs of trauma etc feeling etc.. would be a great unique video

Hey I have one and I’m using spirit classic thermal paper and I don’t see the stencil outline, unless I do it backwards and if I try to stick it to reel skin it only shows when the tattoo stencil outline is backwards and not straight…pls help!
Hi, I think I answered your question on IG but if not you just need to flip/mirror the image before printing.

it's was really good until It run out off battery, the charger doesn't work and when I charge it, the light turns off, but the error light stills blinking

Why dont you try portrait design instead the vector design

i just took a look on Yilong's website and they just had another ATS886 but with rounded corners, i dont know if its performance is the same as the regular one
can the ATT886's app turn a picture into a stencil?
No it cannot, I use the Tattoo Stencil App by Pony Lawson to do that.
Hi Floaty! Thanks so much for your great reviews! I just purchased the Yilong ATS886 and received it yesterday, and am loving the quality of the printer so far. I do however am having a little bit of an issue with getting the tattoo to print true to size. I don’t think it’s a printer issue, but the app issue. I tried both re-sizing and manually entering the dimensions I want, but the picture comes out a few inches smaller than what the app. says it should be - any tips to fix this issue? I was also wondering how you were able to put multiple pictures in one sheet as I know the app doesn’t allow you to put multiple pictures on one sheet before you print. Sorry for all the questions. 😆
Hi, Happy to help! For sizing they just updated the app since I even recorded this video so I will have to get back to you on that, there used to be a button that allowed you switch between something like adaptive or true to size, but I don't see it anymore since the update. I get all of my images on one sheet in Procreate and then export them for printing.

I bought this printer because of your video, was waiting for it 40 days, it’s never came. They didn’t gave any documents that they send it to me even after request. I requested a refund. And now they stopped answering me. It’s a scam and they stole my money.
I'm very sorry to hear that, this doesn't seem like what I have heard from others who have had returns and refunds from Yilong with no issue. I just checked their website and it looks like they are out of stock of the RTP. After further testing I actually recommend the original 886 over the RTP, I will be putting out a comparison video very soon. You might want to ask if they can send you the original 886 instead?
