Custom PWM And Battery Box for the Watersnake Trolling Motor DIY
Here I show how I set up my battery box and PWM control unit for the Hobie Compass with a Watersnake trolling motor cassette mod.
** I do NOT recommend having your pwm module in the same container as your battery **

DIY Hobie Trolling Motor Prop Indexer Cassette Mod

Modification of the Hobie cassette to add a prop indexer for easy removal of the trolling motor. Two things I forgot to mention in the video: I filled the casette with expanding foam, so the added friction keeps the ruler from constantly falling down. I also rounded the front bottom corner of the ruler to make it more weedless. (Motor is still terrible in grass/weeds)
