He had insane chemistry with Kristy, a character kind of just written to die, and then he himself died at the end of the season, I guess because in their scene together they bond over the macabre vale that hung over both of their lives at that point, both feeling doomed.

There’s something about how Joseph Quinn chooses to run for Eddie that makes me giggle. Like in the lunchroom scene and when Eddie collects his stuff in the woods. Joseph Quinn chose the actions for Eddie so well.

When s4 first came out i did NOT like his character i thought he was a weird stoner freak with shitty music taste but back I started rewatching and all thats true but i see him as alot more of just a silly little guy Also in the time since i got into metal and started playing dnd so that's probably something to do with it Also stopped being in denial of being queer

While duffers are stupid and idiots for killing him, I cannot help but wonder: did Eddie intentionally got himself killed? Like a suicide? Because think about it, he was already hated in town cause they believed the whole satanic panic depicting him as a satanist. Plus there was no way the town would accept supernatural stuff (they know the town is cursed, but that’s pretty much it). So even if Eddie survived, he’d go to prison for allegedly killing Crissy. Our terrible justice system won’t work because she was last seen with him and he went on a run afterwards. Plus he’d be a convenient scapegoat. What do you guys think?

I’m saying that his character is seen as “cringe” because people have seen fans express their admiration for this character and think it’s “weird.” Now those people’s view as him as a character that’s “cringe” when really he’s a wonderful character. By no means am I trying to make fun of people who like him.
