There's some big deer on public land but you gotta go further than other people will. Few people go further than 100 yards from the truck. Get back in past a half mile stop seeing hunters start seeing deer.
How would you do a crinkled hat feather that's in a hat
Don't fall for this one like I did, it will destroy your feathers and melt them as if you were holding them to a flame! I know it sounds weird and it truly still is odd to me because I was not expecting that kind of reaction to take place at all what so ever but it did so just a heads up.
Could you try holding it further away from the steam so it isn’t such direct heat?

Boil a pot of water over the stove, and use a toothpick(I used a clothes pin) and straighten out your feathers. The kettle gets hot quick. Some use an iron but I'm not brave enough to iron my eagle feathers
