My Hair Journey: from hair loss to hair care
This lifestyle video is about my hair journey, talking about experiencing hair loss three times in a few years, years of damage with bleach and a newly found desire to take care not only of my physical health and mental health, but also the health of my hair.
I mention also about what I've done in the past 4 months and new practices I've implemented in my routine, the decision to not follow the curly method and what has worked best so far.
Those are the products I mention in the video, working great for my type of hair which is fine, wavy and bleached:
Kerastase 8hrs serum, jojoba oil for my ends at night
Favorite Bond Builders: Redken acidic bonding concentrate and Triple Bond Complex by Living Proof
Favorite hair mask: Kerastase Masquintense
*Using a satin pillow case
*brushing hair daily
*keeping my hair in 2 braids as protective style
*occasional heat but mostly air drying
*no harsh tight hair styles
For more questions on this topic or any other one, I'd love to hear from you!
Thank you for watching :)

Active flexibility for splits
zhlédnutí 9KPřed 10 lety
This is an exercise that works deeply on hip rotation and I find it challenging and effective to lengthen and strengthen legs in split position. First part is from seated pike throw 1 leg back in split, come back in pike, repeat other side. Second part is pike to split, to middle, to other split and back. Then same to other side. Enjoy !
Deep hip mobility exercise
zhlédnutí 4,3KPřed 10 lety
Starting in a frog position, you'll rotate exteriorly one leg at a time (try first without ankle weights). The first couple rotations will feel sort of uncomfortable but they get better ! This is an active stretch to lengthen and strengthen the deep muscles in the hip socket, which help you to get deeper splits and hip mobility. You need to have the starting frog position pretty low and comfort...

wow your before looks like my hair now❤ been trying to embrace my waves but the frizz kills me . yours looks so perfect 💞 thanks for the tips 🤓
Thank you! The humidity is real where I live so I feel you on the frizz 😮
We have similar hair! I think your hair is more than wavy. My hair is fine too and you're right we do have to be more careful about the products we use. I agree with ignoring if the product is natural or not, those shits weren't working for me either 🥲
Hi! That's nice you can relate to the struggle ahaha. My hair loves silicones and such! Great protection coating
I have almost the same hair ( texture / density ) and it also breaks even when I stop dyeing it and using heat. It's so fragile 😢 also sei italiana ?
Si! I know fine hair is a headache, it's so fragile. Give it time and brush very gently... mine too needs lot of care and patience
Looking forward for more videos!!! Jaja you’re my idol
Lol! Thank you!
Welcome back! Will Jojoba oil end up on my pole if I use it?
Thanks! It’s a really light oil compared to other ones. So if you put it at night it’s mostly absorbed in the hair so it shouldn’t be going on pole!
How do you di it
Awesome! 👏👏👏
Wow 14 years old video. Amazing
This is future me im working hard to make it to this level!!
I can't do my middle split because my hips hurt too bad to do it all the way. Would you have any advice for me?
How many kg are your ankle weights?
Awesome, 40s are not easy to over head press in my opinion!

Funtime with Dallas
Very Beautiful Work Honey.............
Where can I get These Blocks? Nice split!
Sophie Sophe Their not too hard to find. You can probably get them at Walmart or target next to the yoga and fitness stuff. If all else fails you can always search "yoga blocks" on amazon, I'm sure they'd have some 😊
Thank you very much! And With this I can get my last Part of the middle split I Hope! :)
you did too much
I tried this but it's so hard
I can do that its very easy
It is easy
Are you progressing or maintaining?

You are One angel!!!!
Awesome! Make a video teaching the kind of exercises, stretching, etc. you do in order to do a split, pleaseeeeeeee!
This gives me hope Sofia. I am new to chest stands and cant kick into them yet and it feels very far away. Ive trained a couple of times with Otgo here in san diego when she is in town. She's helped me so much. But it gives me inspiration to see that even you couldnt kick into them at one point and now you are amazing :)
How can people fricking like this this is stupid!!!!
Bri S It's art, that's why.
That was also easy
shakala maxwell so what you don't need to tell her

That was really good but you can hurt yourself by doing it like that if you do it the wrong way
Yeah
Well if you are a pro gymnast like her and I that is a gym skill
tntwed no I'm a pro and it's a contoutin skill not gt
oops soz I was talking to my friend and I accidentally clicked the comment section cause my friend showed me a backhandspring on messages
love your taste in music! :)
Yo, you need to improve your techniqe. While you go up, your heels raise a little. And your head would better be pointing to the floor, aligned with all your spine, not to force the neck.
Middle split up against the wall with the blocks under your legs. Does it not cause any tension in your knees? Amazing flexibility and a great video!
