Yeah sounds like a normal tuesday for a CN server. While the event itself is new, exclusive content and collabs aren't. Welcome to the world of CN exclusive servers, where because the servers are ran by a different party you get collabs and events exclusive to those servers. As someone who has encountered this type of stuff on a different game, this is not unheard of and is fairly common. From what I have seen so far this is my understanding: Basically due to legal stuff, if you want your game to be in china, you need a group based in china to run some stuff there. One practice if your game development studio is not based in China, is to work with someone there to get your game in China. One caveat to this is that while you still do all the global updates, that go out to everyone else, the people who are running the servers in china can decide to do their own stuff separate from you, either to fit with CN law their own beliefs on what they feel would be good for a CN audience or just cause they wanna add it there. This can result in certain events updates or parts of the game in the CN server being changed. Story wise changes can include: -adding, changing and/or removing characters, and/or their aspects -The relationships between characters -Changes to plot, setting, and other story elements Update and event changes can include: -Changes in timing -update content -Exclusive updates and events -Addition or removal of certain collaborations.
