oooh i did something similar, found the exact same dell xps barebones (cpu+mobo) and i bought a rx 5600xt used on amazon with (new) the corsair 2x8gb kit and a p3 crucial nvme from best buy and total cost came to 230$ and so far im happy with it even though it couldve been cheaper
That's amazing, I've been trying to get a Rx 5600XT in my area but the sellers are asking a bit much for them.

got one of these same dells for free a couple weeks ago, mine had a gtx 745?, 16gb ram, i7-6700 and 1 TB HDD. had a R9 380 on hand and 256gb mvme (ssd works in gen 1x speed only). also needed a 2 -6 pin to 1 -8 pin adaptor for the video card. goal was to make a nice 2015 themed gaming build :)
That's awesome. I only have 2x 4.0 M.2 SSD so I decided to go with a Sata to keep the cost down.

good thing that this h110 mobo has an nvme. some have none (hp 280 g2) even if it has the same i7 6700.
Yes, this motherboard is good, and it has all the regular connectors like the other third-party motherboards.

buy a good psu for a good gpu ( 2nd hand is the way to go) those rx580 8gb china cards are cheap and still playable next buy a higher ram {16 gb is GOOD 32gb is excessive) if you want rgb CPU COOLERS ARE GOOD 128gb SSD for windows( ALWAYS BRAND NEW for WINDOWS) 1tb Hdd ( 2nd hand) for games and other files

All the games captured on the PC had their FPS drop from 7 to 12 FPS in every game.

The Sama PC case comes with a fan hub/RGB controller to connect 4 fans. Also, the motherboard only has one header, and it's for the CPU.

Not at all, because the PC only cost $10, and I added $40 worth of parts to turn it into a gaming PC. That makes it a total of $50 for everything.

Which Optiplex model do you have?
If it's the 7060, it will work with the 9th Gen CPUs. Also, update the BIOS first before upgrading the CPU.

i recommend to use shadowplay if u use Nvidia gpu for game-recording. not only the gameplay but the recording result is also smooth

$500 to $600 would be a great budget for those games and future-proof. Also, I'm currently in the process of building a PC that can play all those games.

@ZeRDTechGaming With his budget, I think he will opt for an Intel A580 from Walmart since it is $169 or so USD, which is not bad. If we can find a 3060 though for less than that price, I would recommend it to him instead.

Love to see these repurposed builds! If you happen to find a bios update for the DX 4860 from Acer, I did see you can use the i7 3770 which would provide a much better gaming experience. I like to use the Xeon e3-1240 V2 (and higher) CPUs on this socket. Most can be found for $20-25.
I really wanted to upgraded it to an i7 or a Xeon but Acer never released a bios to upgrade

Yes, I recommend getting a new CPU and motherboard. It also depends on your budget. AM4 CPUs are quite good and upgradeable.
Get rid of the gt 730. The integraded gpu is better

🙂 if your ok using Radeon cards I would recommend checking out some of the newer video cards, check prices everyday cause they fluctuate all over the place, the cards to monitor are: Vega 56 65, 5500 XT, 5600, 5600 XT, 5700, 5700 XT. The 5700 XT is the same as 6600XT but much cheaper. Please note any card that has two 8pin plugs you will need a 650w psu Tier C from the PSU TIER LIST. Happy Parts Hunting.

I just had a Thermaltake Smart 750W die in my daughter's P.C. luckily the video card and MOBO were undamaged, it died 6 days out of warranty.
It is quite unfortunate that the warranties for these products expire just before they cease to function. I am sorry to hear about this situation.

Why was the Jumper Cut and fixed for Power Switch
When I leave it uncut, as soon as I turn the power supply on, the PC will automatically turn on by itself. Also, the CPU fan won't stop spinning even if I turn off the PC. Maybe it's just the Sama Case.
