Gimbal Walk With Me is a travel channel in which I will show you different towns, towns and villages in the United Kingdom from the level of a person. This is a new challenge for me but I often watch other channels with such content so I thought why not try to record similar videos myself.
The movie in 4K with the natural sounds of the street gives the impression that you were walking there. Fans, right?
The film is more relaxing and sightseeing. If you're expecting a (spoken) narrative, it won't be.
The film then reaches people with disabilities and gives them the opportunity to participate in this virtual tour.

Grassington North Yorkshire Walking Trip Yorkshire Dales
Grassington is a village and civil parish in North Yorkshire, England. The population of the parish at the 2011 Census was 1,126. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, and now in the lieutenancy area of North Yorkshire,the village is situated in Wharfedale, about 8 miles (10 km) north-west from Bolton Abbey, and is surrounded by limestone scenery. Nearby villages include Linton, Threshfield, Hebden, Conistone and Kilnsey.

History
Grassington Town Hall
The Domesday Book lists Grassington as part of the estate of Gamal Barn including 7 carucates of ploughland (840 acres/350ha) including Grassington, Linton and Threshfield.[5] The Norman conquest of England made it part of the lands of Gilbert Tison. But, by 1118, Tison had suffered a demotion and his lands returned to the king before being given to Lord Percy
Originally the settlement was spelt as Gherinstone and also was documented as Garsington or Gersington. The name Grassington derives variously from the Scandinavian, Anglo-Saxon and Gothic languages, and means either the town of the grassy ings or a farmstead surrounded by grass.
Grassington was historically a township in the parish of Linton in the West Riding of Yorkshire. It became a separate civil parish in 1866, and was transferred to North Yorkshire in 1974.
Although often described by local people as a village, Grassington was granted a Royal Charter for a market and fair in 1282 giving it market town status.[10] The market was held regularly until about 1860. A change in land use from the early 17th century, when lead mining began to assume more importance and brought some prosperity, but Grassington's heyday arrived during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The opening of the Yorkshire Dales Railway to Threshfield in 1902 brought new visitors, many of whom settled, some finding work in Skipton or in the developing limestone quarries. The Old Hall at Grassington is reputedly the oldest house in Yorkshire, dating from the late 13th or early 14th century.Grassington Town Hall was completed in 1855.
Grassington & Threshfield Golf Club (now defunct) was founded in 1908. The club continued until the Second World War.
Grassington was used as the setting for the fictional town of Darrowby in the 2020 Channel 5 series All Creatures Great and Small, instead of Thirsk where the actual story took place; Thirsk had simply become too large for the small-town feel that the series wanted.

Grassington is the main residential and tourist centre in Upper Wharfedale.Centred on its small cobbled square are shops, public houses, the village museum, small cafes, restaurants and hotels. Grassington Folk Museum houses a collection which tells the story of Wharfedale. It is an independent museum run and managed by volunteers.
The area is popular with walkers; one of the most popular routes is a circular walk that includes Burnsall.Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association, based in Grassington, is a voluntary mountain rescue organisation which rescues people in trouble on the surrounding fells and in caves.
Grassington Festival is a two-week-long annual event started in 1980, with music, performance and visual arts, held in a number of venues around the village.[22]
Every September since 2011, Grassington has held a 1940s themed weekend. Events include war re-enactments, dances and a variety of military and civilian vehicles on display from the period.
The Square
In the winter Grassington holds the Dickensian Festival, with period costumes, Christmas activities and commercial selling.
A Yorkshire Dales National Park information centre is on Hebden Road.
Three miles north of Grassington, at Kilnsey, is the glacially carved overhang of Kilnsey Crag.
Grass Wood, an area of ancient woodland including the Iron-Age fort, Fort Gregory (also known as Gregory's Fort), is situated just over 3 miles (5 km) north-west of Grassington. The town was transformed into the fictional Darrowby for the filming of the 2020 television series of All Creatures Great and Small for Channel 5

I always love coming to this place. Really peaceful and great energy, rain or shine. I have so many wonderful memories growing up here. 👍
🏖️ Pusta piaszczysta plaża w powietrzu stado rozkrzyczanych mew zagłusza fali szept bijącej o brzeg . W byt jeden niebo z morzem złączone ...stoję ,patrzę i nie wiem 🤔 czy to niebo tonie czy fala jest niebem . Fala za falą goni dotyka brzegu tak blisko ,słonce tańczy na piasku i kołysze na fali jak w niewidzialnej kołysce .. Mewy zaś krzyczą i krzyczą .. Ja stoję na pustym brzegu fala stopy obmywa ,przesypując przez palce piasek plaży poprostu marzę . Wiatr cicho kołysze i dzwoni, muszelkami śni tańcząc nad falami .. Pusta plaża w powietrzu dzikie stado mew rozkrzyczane ,niegrzeczne ..wiatr ,plaża i morza szept ..🌊 Witam Jarek cieplutko 🌞 to kolejny cudowny 30 min spacer .Spacer który na długo zostanie w pamieci bo to nie tylko piękna piaszczysta plaza mieniaca się kryształami piasku których blask odbija się od bloków skalnych rozrzuconych na plaży ale to też spacer ulicami nadmorskiego miasta które przyciąga uwagę pięknem architekrury ,zielenią i słonym zapachem morskiego powietrza .. Ten klimat przenika na wskroś serce tworząc coś co pozostanie w nim na zawsze .Ten spacer to kolejna nie wirtualna ale na wskroś realna wycieczka z przewodnikiem który wie jak i gdzie nas poprowadzić bez pośpiechu ,spokojnie i w ciszy ...bo pomimo ,ze na ulicy panuje znaczny ruch to dla mnie on byl nie słyszalny ,w skupionych myślach była cisza .Dziękuje❤ Mistrzu za to co dla nas widzów robisz 😊 bo to co robisz jest poprostu po ludzku piekne . 🌊 Idę boso brzegiem piaszczystej plaży wolnym tanecznym krokiem .Patrzę na morze zaciekawionym pełnym nostalgi wzrokiem .Wiatr cichym powiewem rozwiewa mi włosy i pieści policzek, zaś złoty piasek głaszcze mi stopy ...A ja podziwiam obłoki ,slyszę szum morza i trzepot skrzydeł mew . Nuta radości do serca mojego się wkrada niczym zakradający się kot ..idę prosto przed siebie tam gdzie słońce grzeje a serce prowadzi ...🌞❤️ Kirby nadmorskie miasteczko pełne kolorów ,zapachów i gwaru .Miasteczko rozciągniete symetrycznie wzdłóż przepięknej piaszczystej złotej plaży którą można isć bez końca daleko gdzieś przed siebie ,zapomnieć o tym co przesiąkniete jest na wskroś wspólczesnoscią ..Zatopić się w tym świecie myślami w swiecie piasku i morskiej wody i pomyśleć przez chwilę ,że czas stanał w miejscu ... Po raz kolejny bardzo z calego serca Ci dziękuje za to jak kręcisz filmy ,za ogromną wrażliwosć patrzenia na otaczający swiat ale przedewszystkim za ogromny szacunek do widza .I to by było na tyle bo znowu się rozpisałam za bardzo ..To marnej jakości niby wierszydło skleciłam na poczekaniu w trakcie ogladania filmu za którego jakość przepraszam . wiersz bardzo fajny :) no cóz ten kawaek londu trzeba jeszcze nagra z innej perspektywy bo tu jest wychodzacy w morze deptak, jak jest przypyw to idziesz prawie "po morzu" niesamowite wrazenie ale tez silne wiatry wtedy sa (wtedy migajá na deskach) ale to innym razem
