I want to spread the message of peace and love with the help of beautiful old reggae sound. My videos should have the highest video and audio quality without changing the original to get as close to it as possible.
For this I use old analog devices like reel-to-reel tape recorders and turntables paired with modern digital equipment

The sound quality is bad, because the record was previously played wet. But I'm still happy to present you this wonderful album on my channel.
When I heard the album for the first time, I did’t find it that special but now I’ll tell you: this is one the best Reggae albums that ever been recorded! Please hear it two times or more before you allow yourself a verdict. The beautiful harmonies are hidden between the lines.
Carlton Manning is the lead singer and his brothers Donald and Lynford Manning (both members of The Abyssinians) and Alexander Henry are singing the background voices.
The Album is release in two different versions, both around 1977-1979 but the tracks are recorded earlier. I can’t find the exact date.
The most common digital version is SOL-1136 and is overdubbing with hi-hat and syndrums. The Video shows the clear DB-115 Version, which I think sounds better.

Within this jacket is the recorded voice of one of Jamaicas most talented vocal groups. „Carlton and the Shoes“ Carlton Manning leader of the group has been singing since in the 60’S Their outstanding collection on this album demonstrates the veratility and talent which can be heard in all songs.
Listening to these selection one will recognise favorites like Love me Forever, I’ve Gor Soul, This Feelings, and last but not least this latest release „Never give your Heart Away“. We sincerely hope „ Carlton & The Shoes“ fans will enjoy this album of Rockers. and certainly after listening this LP many new fans will be added.
