A product with such an inherent design flaw doesn't seem like a good idea to me. I would grow tired of having to readjust the wind screen every time I that I needed to access the frunk.

I bought one last year, it’s living a hard life in the San Juan mountains but holding up very well. I like it a lot but it could benefit from 4 pot brakes and bigger brake rotors, mine are blue from heat coming down STEEP mountain rides. A smaller chain ring is on my list, we have 18-25% grades. 😳

I LIKE TO EXERCISE AND DONT LIKE TO USE THE POWER VERY MUCH, BUT I DO LIKE THE ABILITY TO USE POWER TO MANTAIN 30 MPH CONSISTANLY FOR MINUTES AT A TIME. I CAN REACH 30 ON A REGULAR BIKE, BUT ONLY FOR A BRIEF PERIOD WITH A HELL OF A LOT OF WORK. THE AVENTURE WAS TOO HEAVY, AND TOO BIG. I COULDN'T GET IT INTO THE BACK OF A JAGUAR F-PACE. I rode my Ripcurrent today, climbed 3k feet + in packed snow from snow machines. I had switched out to a flat to slightly riser bar but haven’t yet changed anything. It performed really well: the bike was really smooth on the slick snow. The motor did not seem to assist over 21 mph though. I did need to use the throttle several times as if you stop on a steep hill, the torque sensor creates a quarter to half turn delay in motor activation. Also I will switch out the tires to 4.8 studded. As I was on 10-20 percent grades and the cadence was low, I’ll probably have to put a smaller chainring on the front which will probably increase the efficiency as well.

What size bike frame did you get?

I think that the derailleur guard is more to protect the wire coming out of the Freewheel then it is to protect the derailleur. But you're running the new style thousand watt, the wire comes out on the other side, so they don't give you the derailleur guard.

Hey! You mentioned US-19 and I live right near it. Not far from Hudson actually. Are you living in Florida or were you just visiting?

No matter how I ride or what grade, I get 32mpg on the computer. I fill up around 165miles on the odometer it takes 5gallons so I’m really getting 34mpg. I don’t think the computer is that accurate, i always reset the odometer. The gauge never matches the odometer, is always on full and the it drops last miles.

What size are those bolts for the luggage rack? I purchased the rack from someone but didn't have the bolts.

Just glue the inner to the outer. No reason you'll ever need to take them apart so just glue them together.
