Affordable Accurate Mitre Gauge?
Affordable Mitre Gauges that are accurate are pretty challenging to find. This one from Vevor surprised me. It's not perfect, and I'm a little confused about a couple of choices, but you can't complain about its accuracy!
Check it out here - s.vevor.com/bfQQAg
Vevor did send me this free for the purposes of review, however, no money has changed hands, they did not get to see this video before it went live, and they've had no input or influence.

This little mouse plane isn't something I would have thought would have been overly useful in the workshop, but, I have been reaching for it more than I thought I would! Great review, I bought mine having enjoyed it. Did you have any difficulty obtaining a right angle between the blade and fence assembly? With the screws loosened on both sides I can only achieve 89.9 using a digital level box? I wondered if loosening the 4 bolts that secure the motor and blade assembly to the base would give me more movement?

Forty-five quid looks very reasonable. Often these third party ali mitre guages are north of a hundred.

The measure tape direction depends on if you use the miter slot to the left or right of the blade. Realistically there is no way that it will be accurate to the bade without cutting it off at the zero mark :)

Great review! I looked at the extensible miter gauge and I was impressed too! Great features for the price. For the ruler, on their extensible version, it actually start from the other way. So exactly what you want. I shared a trick on how you can offset the fence and the blade and use the ruler. Kinda help on not hitting the fence although I still prefer relative dimensioning than using the ruler.

Why don’t you just use the Parf system to drill the holes? Yes it costs 200€ but you buy it once. The time you sat making this that is totally not accurate for your cuts costs you way much more money. Or then just get a company to make it with CNC. So many comanies’offer’these services .with all respect this is really a waste of your time.
