hi Marty, I really enjoyed your watercolour thatched cottages demo. The colours are great, but it seems odd to build 2 cottages on such inclines. The first rainfall and they'd be flooded.! Do they really build on hills like that ? John

Lovely. Would you also include telling us beginners what size brushes you use as you paint? Glad you explain the colors and color mixes you use as you work . Very very helpful. 🙏
I normally use a large brush for the big washes at the beginning then when I get more detailed I switch to a mid sized brush and then to a long haired rigger fine detail - different manufacturers have various brush numbering systems according to their own brand, but roughly an 18 for big washes a 6 or 10 for mid washes and then a long haired rigger.
