Probably the best scene: Not gonna to lie but if i lose my home world & half the people i suppose to protect. I wouldn’t be the same either. I’m surprise what’s left of Asgard have not rise up and revolted against Thor. They probably said this never happened on Odin watch. I get it he lost his entire family and they probably pity him and that drove him into depression. I’m actually surprised he help sure you can bring half of them back but risk losing what’s left iof them if Thanos get the gauntlet.

The only problem with this film is that it's not diverse enough.

to those that said fat Thor was stupid take into account that Thor and Loki had to unleash Ragnarök to stop Hela which resulted in Aagards destruction. then he had to watch both the survivors and his own brother be killed by Thanos and his children. then he failed to stop Thanos again which resulted in the blip occurring. finally after discovering that Thanos destroyed the stones and killed him Thors will was kinda broken after that which resulted in him turning into this. this man has been through so many traumatizing experiences that you cant blame him for being in this depressed state.

He is depressed because of lokis death and what did marvel-studios do? Running a bad written loki-Series and retiring the Charakter without a reunion with his brother..

Personally, I think Thor should've been the one to stop Thanos's first snap attempt and be knocked away by the power stone in the final fight instead of Captain Marvel

This is one of the great scenes in the MCU. The god who once defeated the Chitauri, Ultron's armies, and Thanos now has a big mouth for one nerd on the other end of a voice chat. The misery and fall from grace is not so easy to describe. Chris Hemsworth is a great actor. The moment he hears Thanos' name from Banner, the look on his face is one of fear and anger in equal measure, then it turns to sadness when he grabs Banner. He then drinks a beer to escape reality, but cannot make eye contact with Banner. Or he jokes and refuses to face things head on (again, to escape reality). If it's not "to deal with Thanos" but "to drink beer," he can face reality while escaping. In this film, he plays the part of a depressed person escaping from reality, but gradually coming to terms with it.
