Giorno's Theme (Il Vento D'Oro) from "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" has a burning sax solo in the fun key of G#m for alto saxophone. The saxophonist is Masato Honma, the same sax player as on the Mario Kart theme. Sal Nistico burned down the house playing on "Sister Sadie" with Woody Herman and his Swingin' Herd. He sounds not unlike Cannonball Adderley but on tenor sax to me. Especially the "bounce" he has in his incredible phrasing. Just watching the end, I wonder if he liked playing saxophone, he seemed not too excited about it to say the least. But I am!
