Lovely to see thee back out again lass, glad you enjoyed it. What a great thing for someone to paint the trig, but i do wonder why the council dont do it as they seem very neglected along with a lot of our ancient milestone markers. Thats something I always fancied doing! Theres one on the way up to Owler bar on Baslow road (past the Cross Scythes), that i used to pass on the bike a lot and think...why have they let it get so dirty and rusty? theres some houses opposite it, and surely someone has looked at it and thought....I'll give it a lick of paint! Maybe its something I could do...just need a name! Any road I'm rambling :D :D :D Hope you enjoyed your hols x

Nice one Sarah well done for getting back out and on your new house move. I agree with you I like spring autumn winter camps than summer to hot and I enjoy it more. Like you I have a helm 1 and few other tents. Just been naughty bought a SHand Soulo I hope it’s worth it. 🤞🤞 Atb Graham

Another great video. I definitely prefer colder weather camping. Doesn’t have to be 4ft snow… I just prefer cooler nights.

Nice to see you back out wild camping, but I realise modernising a house takes priority, and do holidays. It will be better to camp in Autumn as I find summer its too hot, too many people and too many midges, so the best part of the year is waiting for you, enjoy your holiday and we'll see you on the next wild camp, whenever it may be......Pat

Hi Sarah, Seems like an eternity since we last saw you and we understand why but we are selfish and greedy. I've said it before, I've watched hours and hours of your videos, so to me you are like a friend but of course to you I'm just a random punter. So much has happened, PM and PD have put out stuff that I wanted to discuss. But never mind there you are, (now on a cruise 🛳?) Completely agree with you about pitching late so you have the peace of mind that no-one knows you are there. Did you see Claire's video where someone is walking around her tent at 02:30, I'd need a change of underwear but she took it in her stride, hats off and respect 🙏. No sign of Kitti Kiddiwhizz, have you developed a super bladder? It is so painful watching your kids burning 🔥 their fingers but you have to let them learn by their own mistakes. Mine, we had to pick up from the railway station just before midnight this evening couldn't tell him off. Glad to hear about your house move, perhaps one day I'll tell you about ours, act of God is the only phrase that comes close. So many persons have said they like winter camps over summer ones. Oh, er, yes birthday is creeping up. Will you do a house renovation video? Took us ages to get everything sorted, we bought ours from the family that built the house, felt like ours from day one. Sounds like yours is the same. We have a test phrase, does it pass the night alone in a thunderstorm without electricity, ours does, does yours? Happy, accomplished, tired, good phrase. Am I the most verbose fan you have? Gawd, just imagine if our paths crossed, we'd natter the day away😁😂. Cheers Graham

Just watched - been looking forward to it all day Sarah! Loved hearing you just chit chat and the length. When Paul told me you'd put a video up the first thing I said was "how long is it?" Then got really excited that it was almost an hour. Would love to see a double camp with your son, that'll get you thinking as the spot would need to be big enough for two tents ⛺️ he could cook your tea, steak on the moors absolute bliss! Great to see you back out. Looking forward to seeing your multi day hike videos, I'm off to Kinder next week for a few days to mess about and investigate more of the plateaux 😁. I'm currently after a mooch, at Grindleford stn cafe before heading back into the woods again via padley gorge to test out my new X-Mid 1p solid. I'm fully loaded as training for my upcoming multiday hikes 😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 I will watch this again with the volume up later and not surrounded by ramblers in the cafe 😁

I didn't realise it had been so long since you last posted!!.. Not that I didn't miss your ramblings, because I did.. I bet the proud mum instinct is strong in you , with your son camping and cooking steak... I was already wild camping at 16 but I had never cooked stake, don't even remember if I had eaten steak ( it was the 80s everyone was skint).. hope you video you 2 camping together,, the generation comparison will be interesting... good to see you again.. good luck with the house.
