Good question. I did have an after market Scorpion exhaust but I didn't like the additional noise so I out the original one back on

Nice. Im lookinf at a 2013 Sertao this coming weekend. 4600 miles on it. Never off road. Still looks new for $5999 USD at dealer. Pretty decent price.

Thanks for your video, the key to motorcycle travel is riding a bike you are comfortable with, I had a Yamaha XT660Z for years, great bike, but I was never comfortable with it, too tall, I recently bought a Dakar without even test riding it and it fits like a glove, plush soft suspension, low enough for short people, great fuel economy, enough power from the Rotax engine. The Dakar is an underrated bike, simple enough for the home mechanic to service. I have over 40 years of ADV riding so I have some knowledge of riding all these years.

How was your trip? I want to ship my car using the same route, but I am unsure about if there's a caution for my car to be able to enter israel. how was it for you?

@@65dan65 hello! Thanks for taking the time to reply. Let me start by saying that I love what you do! Thank you also for sharing it with us. I have read your blog about this part of the trip. The info I was looking for isn’t in there, because it probably only concerns more expensive cars such as the one I would like to temporarily import there. I will try to get this info before any bad surprise when I decide to take that trip! I have heard horror stories about customs asking for 100% of the price of the car as a caution.. that wouldn’t be possible for me.. so we will see! Thanks again ! Cheers.
