Thanks I almost didnt watch because of the title. Then I decided to watch anyway. So glad it wasn't what the title said. Oh I complained about those European wigs like 20 years ago when researching Africa. I was disheartened and embarrassed. Whites got the Homestead act on other people land and was able to claim it for free .. it's just sad that we still today have pushback on free land with very high fees and other guidelines and expectations.

Just by you mentioning that people from the Diaspora believe that everybody of Nubian descent is rich in the United States, not knowing the history and being dumbfounded and ignorant to how white supremacy work and how racism was in this country shows the lack of interest for them to learn about how this place works prior to be given a Visa to come to the United States in the first place. I dont get how people sleep at night. I live in the US. My employées get 3500- 4000 cedies a m'onth. I provide unemployment for 6 months if I hâve to close. My NGO is 100% supported from me. I feel there is no excuse to pay people what 2gh a hour living wages.

I guaranty you they can tell you are not from Ghana just by looking how you dress up. There are many African clothing styles that are mostly use by people who come from the west.

I don’t think A/A are leaving in droves because I see on CZcams so many establishing themselves not just in Accra but in the hinterlands. Yes, it does seem like, of the ones who scream foul and are leaving , more are A/A than any others. From my point of view, these seem to be people who haven’t traveled much, even in America, and /or haven’t spent much time away from familiar. Then there are people like “Go Black to Africa” who hype and twist other people’s mishaps for views and financial gain. I wish when I first went to America , that I had met someone who could have warned me about some of the trials and tribulations it takes to adjust to American society. The context to the unemployed overly educated is the colonial education mindset. The locals didn't understand the role of education in Ghana's development trajectory. The message we got was to get educated and be ready for an office job. We didn't make the connection between industry and education. Even entrepreneurial parents send their children to school to get office jobs instead of returning to help them to expand on the business (i.e., business devt & expansion) or to get into import substitute industry. The fact that the education curriculum does not capture this reality is the most unfortunate.
