Can't any guess rpm, started high and went higher.
A tight track and it's raining. Bring on the Giant Killers. This brings back great memories.
Dear I have a problem in long right-hand turns The car loses power halfway through the turn Could it be that the float level is too low They are two 50 DCO SP No 19650.001/002 They are mounted on the right (i.e. inside bend) The float level is now 12 mm With kind regards
Mate I am having the same issue with twin 48s. My floats are set to parallel with the body when closed. Did you find a resolve on this?
@@craighouston7014 neen maar ik ga het level eens op 8mm in plaats van 12mm probeeren ?
@@claudeholvoet Good call I have been told to reduce levels too but was afraid of going lean. Good luck with it brother!
@@craighouston7014 zeker niet verlagen !!!!!
@@craighouston7014 @D3Sshooter 2 dagen geleden Hi, well that can be for many reasons... typical that is a sign of running out of mixture richness. I have seen it before , one goes full throttle on the straights and then gets in left or right hander, tries to accelerate after braking of course and the car hesitates or loses power. Reason not enough fuel in the floatchamber... it has been drained a lot on the straight, then the corner is hit and what is left in the fuelchamber shift out and causes a lean mixture. The main reason is a fuel pressure that is to low ( must be at all times 4 PSI ) and not enough volume ( must be about 4 Liters per minute).. All this is most of the time cause by a poor performing fuel pomp. That would be my first check...
Nice upgrade, good job
The giant killer in all its glory. GTR XU-1 TORANA. Bloody awesome 😎👍
302........little MONSTER
Hi watching this video you say push the float pin from the split side but other videos say put the pin from the non split side I'm not sure
Hi can you help, my weber dcoe 40 (italian) leaks fuel after a hot run from the O Ring, between manifold and carb..... im running the smallest facet fuel pump so not sure it is the fuel pressure..... and its only after the engine shuts down... look forward to your thoughts
Id rather watch quad webbers on a V8 all day, instead of 10 strippers masturbate each other And im 59 and havent had sex in three years... 😛
🇯🇵〜👏👍😊
Amazing how that mustang can keep up on the corners.
What rods are you running in it mate?
conrods
@@Smelly_Indian wow really ,was just seeing weather it had starfire rods in it or not
Due to the rpm out put
@@jasonray1796 Sorry. I get conrods and control rods mixed up from time to time. Not good when I worked in a nuclear reactor. I accidentally dropped conrods into the reactor and it blew up killing 1,000,000 people with a 20 megaton explosion. Or was it the other way round? Did I put control rods in instead of conrods? They sacked me after that little incident anyway. I haven't had a job since coz I got bad references from them. Can you give me a job? I promise I won't kill anymore people.
@@Smelly_Indian 😄 bahahaha well you'll probably have to lay off the meth for abit might help with your cognitive ability and memory lol when it comes to those complex tasks you handle😉
The difficult bit is fitting the shafts, and bearings, thats why i came here, to find out how to do that....
Thank you. I have a huge flat spot where it leans out off the line so I'll get a fatter spring in there and make sure I have max throw and flow.
Hi! I am building a performance-orientated Holden 'blue' 202 as my first ever engine project and I am looking at a pre-built triple Weber & intake manifold package. Would you be able to offer any advice to a novice, and if so what is the best way of reaching out to you?
That exhaust sounds mean AF ❤❤❤❤
hello, is there this can model level float for weber standing?
Hello, all right, I'm Brazilian and a big fan of weber carburetors, and I've already had fuel teck ft500 in a car here, anyway, can you tell me if the weber dcoe can mount the pressure cap? for turbo? I had a turbo with weber standing up!
Cool! Now I have a lot of space for my desk, bed and the cribs for my new born twins!
That's a sweet sound you got there 😎😎😁👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh yeah, rip, rip !!
100 hp per litre out of a 1940's yes 1940s engine. without injection . is this for real? on pump gas? still find it hard to believe. may be true though. ..and a 2 valve head?
My similar setup (but a different cylinder head) made 352hp with 48 webers- it can be done with the right ingredients
Hi is this pump circuit same on the dcoe 40 138 139 emissions carbs
Wow.
Almost filled my pants at 3:10, with that stupid chime.
Holden royalty in the control room. No reason to doubt those figures.
Well, how many horsepower was it? It’d be nice to friggin know!
ahh, description!!!!!
Then READ!!!
Gotta be the most powerful n/a 202 XU1 in OZ. That thing is hanging against the V8’s down the straight. Amazing what properly set up Weber’s and extractors will do!
Do a little more research mate as the XU1s didn’t just have “properly set up webers and extractors” 😂 Add in starfire rods, forged internals, a massive cam, roller rockers, heavily ported head, massive valves, and more, all blueprinted and static plus dynamically balanced. Oh and properly set up webers and extractors 😂 I build a 202 that replicated the exact specs and it was over $12,000 in parts and machining, with me blueprinting and building it. Easily a $15,000 to $20,000 engine in those Bathurst XU1s.
Not to mention I had all rotating parts magnafluxed, shotpeened and polished. Plus triple row valve springs, valve stem caps, custom length pushrods so the yella terra roller rockers roll over the caps with minimal distance, and it just goes on and on. An immense amount of work, skill, time and expense goes into these engines that no one except an engine builder would know. The machining is so incredibly accurate that on my engine, as with the machinist’s National winning HQ 202 had the pistons just leave marks on the combustion chambers when the rods were fully stretched at 8,000rpm. But yeah… tuned carbies and extractors 😂
There is a God! So lucky that wasn't at turn in to the sweeper!
Where do u get those screens that go on the velocity stacks ?
Tea strains?
Nice Job!!!!
Is it possible to remove and clean the three types of jets with the carb on the engine without effecting the tune/set up of the carb?
Where are the numbers?
Awesome idea.. Would you mind sharing what size winches you used.?
I ran a 45 on 80 cube harley back in the day. took a while to get jets sorted but in the end was running sweet
I saw that different types of Dcoe.s have different fuel levels. My questions is that the level is the same, no matter the type of Dcoe, if I measure by caliper (29mm)? Thx
Perfect
How can I get one of those cards
Cute!
Hadn’t watch this race before, was great seeing you muscle it up to those v8’s, great racing and keeping it together, if that’s a true Holden 6 then your motor lives to race, great work 👍
Just a beautiful sight...3 45 DCOE Webers synced together...would stay in tune for a lifetime compared to the factory 3 carby set up.
My XUI with factory triple carbs was always falling out of tune.
You. Want. Go. Fast. V8. Not. Six.
Did that in the 80s. Chev was far simpler and cheaper to get power. Many told me it would not work. I proved them very wrong. And it was a low buck car.
nah you obviously where not around when these where common place, otherwise you wouldn't say such silly things
Bloody hell .
The. Best. Sounding. Six
no dyno graph wtf, waste of frigin time baaaa
Agree
It's not their fault you're too dumb and uneducated to read the description!
this is a good as a wife who don't like sex. where's ALL the numbers????????????
It’s a 202. Makes around 120 dB at 7500rpm
Jesus that Mustang was loose 😳
You can really appreciate the torque and response the webers give you. Its a shame Holden didn't consider this option instead of the SU's. Maybe they did, SU's are much easier to tune.
Made back up ground pretty bloody good was hoping you'd catch him and return the tap good shit
