This is the best knot tutorial ever.

It's almost impossible to get a good braid to mono knot when the difference in diameter is too great, I prefer the albright knot in this situation

In England it's called a grinner knot and if you pass line through hook eye 2times called a full grinner knot ....👍

never for hooks, as its stronger than line itself. Its only good for nylon. It will damage fleurocarbon and will slip out from braid. For strong knot on those I prefer to use improved palomar, where at 0:43 instead of going inside the loop, I do 3-5 hand rotations, then as in video the outermost loop head on left right goes exactly through the outermost loop head on the right then expands over the the hook and after prettying it can be wettened and tight up.

The uni knot. I like to go 2 times through the eye and it’s only necessary to pass 3-4 times through the loop, great knot for tying braid, won’t slip like a clinch knot.

That’s the only knot I ever use.
