Not kidding.....I used to listen to this entire album going to sleep at night back around the late 90s. I STILL listen to this album going to sleep. This and a couple of other ambient favs but yeah most nights this is my soundtrack.
My dumb child ass with ff8
lol I started Final Fantasy II for the first time after beating Final Fantasy I. And, I got rocked by some goblins immediately. I feel like Diablo IV’s level scaling is way easier for me to understand.
This is something Morrowind does really well: the main quest will tell you to go out and level up and get better equipment.
After I beat Oblivion, I’m going to back and properly play Morrowind’s main quest cause as a kid I just played it like an open world sandbox and had no idea how to beat the main quest.

Imps?
Yes 💪
Quake was so much better than Quake 2.
What’d you think of the Quake 2 remaster by Nightdive? Still need to play through all of it. Quake 1’s atmosphere hooked me in. Something about that aesthetic. Quake 2 has been fun too but I need to dive in more
@theyettiden the night dive remaster is great. I played through it in co-op with my kids and it worked flawlessly.
Few years ago, I went with my friends to a cabin in the woods with the idea of playing the role-playing game "The Call of Cthulhu" at night. I brought the CD with Quake's music to make it even more terrifying. After half an hour, one of my friends got so overwhelmed that he asked me to remove the CD.
Sandy from ID did Call of Cthulhu right? Am I misremembering? The CD of Quake in a cabin of the woods is wild. Haha terrifying
Awesome overview of story of the Quake music, thanks for sharing! When I was about 14 years and discovered the game music was on the CD and I could play it in personal CD players, I would go to sleep listening to it. I learned quickly not to put the disc on repeat or it would restart with track one and the awful screeching would startle me. Later I ripped them to mp3 and just played them off my computer. I would also go to sleep listening to NIN Downward Spiral too though.
Falling asleep to The Mars Volta, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin was my routine before setting up for band practice. Quake and Downward Spiral are great choices btw
1:55 sprint can be changed to a toggle, and its actually an autorun
Jsawyer is slowly aging into Jordan Peterson
That's terrifying, you should tell him lol
Really wish Bethesda would work with another team like Obsidian to franchise out the Fallout ip. No reason we should have to wait another 10 years for Fallout 5 lol

Use Volkite for Nurglings
Def will check that out!
That episode really annoyed me I thought that maybe they had put something in the food for him to act like that when I found out no he’s not being effected by anything it kind of annoyed me how over the top stupid he was almost bad acting poor choice of directing
There’s definitely some kind of dissonance happening with his character. I really like the actor, and I can feel there’s so many layers beneath the surface but I think we as the audience were supposed to underestimate the character of Maximus. But Maximus has now become this legend pretty quickly, so it’s hard to believe certain moments of “silliness.” I like the layers to him, I just think there’s something that’s not gelling through out the season. Defintely want to dive more into their thought process behind the character. By the end, I loved Maximus. And the second watch through helps a ton.
That's what i said immediately... did people not understand that?
I think because the actor has these really sharp moments it’s hard to believe that the character has an intelligence of 4. Certainly with the power armor, Maximus is like a child. Also, in the vault he is very child like. But he has a dark side to him that makes it seem as though he has a ton of potential beyond just being a goofball. He also adapts super quickly to new environments. But maybe I’m being thrown off by his SPECIAL stats.
@@theyettiden I thought it was avg intelligence. But super low charisma.
Bro was suppose to come of dumb but the actors so good it's more like a tism n I love it
Tim Cain’s Classic dumb play throughs are hilarious. Have you heard his story for Lucky boy? Maximus is certainly not as dumb as some of the character options Cain designs for. There’s levels to it for sure.
I was thinking low charisma with middle intelligence cuz he fails his speech checks everytime
Haha, true.
I wouldn’t say dumb but rather socially inexperienced compared to other things that he might excel at including solving problems etc
More nuanced. Tim Cain’s humor works really well with absurd levels of dialog choices and Maximus is way more measured.
Right - on the bridge he was intelligent enough to save Lucy from her own inexperience.
He has the idiot savant perk
Maximus has had zero education outside of brotherhood tactics and dogma, he doesn’t even know what an ejaculation is.
That was wild. lol
I actually really really liked Maximus as a character! So much so that I was really surprised to see some of the negative reactions that people had to him! To me, he is a quintessential child soldier. He behaves liked a beaten dog. He shows aggression and even some cruelty when he is in a position of power (or power armor), He tucks his tail and cowers when the tables turn against him and when lucy breaks through his outer shell he is finally honest and we see that he is burdened with fear and shame. Even his voice changes depending on the situation. Sometimes he almost speaks like a scared child while other times he puts on this sort of scary tone. Moving forward I could either see him becoming a force of good or even becoming Lucy's ultimate nemesis and I am excited about either one of those possibilities! Especially considering they have feelings for each other. I can't wait to see more Maximus!
Great analysis. Excited for Season 2.

most intelligent fallout tv show fan💀
What?
We all know we did it for the power armor
BOS is objectively the most stylized faction compared to all the others, definitely making it more appealing
He’s not dumb at ALL, Maximus is a fish out of water (similar to Lucy) but unlike Lucy he’s never had to think. His meals, his workouts, when he shits, when he showers we’re all told to him when and how. Now he’s gotta figure it out, he has to adapt to a world he is unfamiliar with.
Fish out of water is a great way to put it. I’d be curious to see his age, do you know if the said it anywhere? Only because he’s been in the wasteland much longer than Lucy. Which would mean that Brotherhood of Steel squires are as out of the loop as a vault dweller - which I’d think they’d have much more awareness. I have a feeling we’ll see rapid character growth from him in season 2. If I remember correctly Bethesda listed his intelligence as a 4. Which in some scenes I can totally see (when he makes it to the vault) while in another’s he seems way more intelligent than a 4.
I think he said he was 10 when the bomb hit shady sands
@theyettiden It's funny you mention Maximus's intelligent being 4, because the Ghoul's intelligence is also 4 and he's clearly not an idiot.
@@SF-ow9ym interesting, what do you think the reason behind such low intelligences is?
Jesus this guy sounds like he knows nothing
he sounds like he can only think 1 word ahead. total npc
Damn a young Jordan Peterson developed FNv
Then he ate steak and popped pills and look where he is now.
@@nothere413 sad

JumbyJumbwa!!
What’d you think of Fallout episode 5 “The Past”?
Yeah Josh is a real good Developer. ❤ Todd just works to get rich....
To be fair, Todd Howard has made several great games with Oblivion, FO3, Skyrim, and FO4. He single-handedly made Bethesda a successful company which is the only reason why FNV was even made. I think Josh Sawyer is an amazing dev, but there's no need to shit on Todd to mention that
@@colbyking5423 🤣🤣🤣🤣 "Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies"
@@niklassororitas If we want to get real Josh Sawyer completely failed on Outer Worlds as it had completely subpar storybuilding, writing and gameplay
@@colbyking5423FO4 sucks compared to those other 3 games.
@@AstroBimpson FO4 is an amazing game, just not a very great RPG. It has easily the best combat, gameplay, crafting and graphics of all of those games combined.
Thank you! Such a well done video!
I love voiced protagonist. It makes game more alive and makes a dialouge more interesting also more interactive . I Love FO4 MC is voiced not like Silent like TES5 . I installed voice pack mod for my Skyrim MC 😂, without it, I kinda lazy to read a dialogues 😂
So many complaints for a normal difficulty?! In the easiest boomer-shooter in history??? Bah... And encouraging other players to play as little as possible by running for the exit with tail between legs? Dislike. A huge Imperial dislike. 🙄🤣
New Vegas was the best of all fallout games, dialog, arc, and all
That is so cute
“We must follow you” 🐕🐩
To be honest I prefer a voiced protagonist... I loose the immersion when it's not. I don't think the problem is it but instead the problem is how it's done and frankly, Bethesda have a big problem with all voice actings, both protagonist or npc. Unlike Bioware for example, the voice working they did on all the Mass Effect, including Andromeda is amazing. But if you wanna see some fantastic voiced dialogues, Star Wars online is pure gold, each class have their own voice with their own tones and reactions that reflects the class.
Ironically Starfield is more restrictive in what you do even when your character never speaks. For example you can essentially kill every NPC in Fallout 4 but in Starfield most if not all NPCs are immortal which takes away choice and lack of Roleplay to be who you want and Fallout 4 definitely has more choice, not as much as New Vegas but definitely more than Starfield
What'd you think of episode 1?
This game needs either a remake or a real dark fantasy sequel
Dead money imo is the weakest nv dlc and feels like a chore to do during full play throughs and I understand why the alot of the community dislikes it but like the entire game it was developed in a very short time and rushed out and what obsidian accomplishment with fnv is nothing but amazing. Fnv is still my goat And I still spend countless hours playing it almost 15 years later!
That’s beautiful
Bro just toggle sprint lol. You don't have to hold the stick down. Maybe like look at all the settings? Press it once and sprint will stay on forever. You can even toggle it mid air bruh. Left trigger to sprint is whack.
I have I big issue with their philosophy 😅
Had no idea about the nin<->mcgee involvement but I'm not surprised.. haha. nice one thank you
This is FANTASTIC. Subbed.
Just landed here after the GQ Trent Reznor video made no mention of Quake.
