Sunday, November 16th, 1997. I'll never forget that day. That was the morning I became a Marine. After 54 hours of emotional and physical challenge. I had to climb the Grim Reaper at Camp Pendleton on a partially torn hamstring I was desperately hiding from the drill instructors for fear I'd get placed back in the cycle behind us. One of my platoon buddies by the name of Gamez helped me up...I'll never forget him either. That feeling of accomplishment is something you are rarely going to eclipse. I've had a son who makes me proud every day, I've graduated from college, I've made a lot of great friends and done good things as a civilian veteran. But losing 68 pounds in basic training and finishing when many of my own family members didn't think I had it in me...there's a pride in my time spent that will stay with me until the day I die. It's not something people who haven't gone through it can fully understand. So I'll just say Semper. Oooh rah!

On there Moto Runs, just sincere. I see in these Marines / the New Marine Corp of the 21st. Century. Surely I 'am so so Glad I chose to get out of Army recuit enlistment line that Friday afternoon. That Monday morning I at the M.C. recruiting office 4-blocks down from my Hi. Sch. March of 1966 , Min. T.L.W.

I am a 30 year Marine my battalion was charged with building the Crucible course at Camp Pendleton. I had the pleasure and honor of attending the first recruits to complete the training. OOORahhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!

That Bike did not come with ABS Pro. It came with ABS, but ABS Pro is a 500 dollar option that must be installed at the dealer retroactively, as is was not offered at launch of 2016, no matter what package you purchased on the bike. *Edit* All 2015 and 2016 S1000RR riders should get the ABS Pro software installed at the dealer. It's a bike saver at least and a life saver at best.

Awesome video as always as far as the Seat cowl color looks perfect as far as fit did you buy the kit to install the cowl if you did not use such kit that's why your cowl ain't fitting perfect & is so loose . I have a 2017 S1000RR as well and my seat cowl fit is on the money no gaps at all .Thanks for all the hints you mentioned in every one of your videos keep up that fantastic job you are doing

We did not have this when I was in boot camp. We did not get the title until the day we graduated. This does not not matter to me Like Chesty Puller said Old breed, New Breed, It doesn't matter as long as it is the Marine breed. The Corps is in great hands I gradusted in 1984 from Company "M" 3rd Bn Plt. 3127 in February 1984.

I've been seeing so many cops here. Sometimes dealing with guys screaming in pain waiting for an ambulance. I had two bikes pass me over the double yellow later seeing one land face first into the guard rail. Broken collar bone, ambulance . Did I mention he never had a drivers license . Chp took his bike.
