I love how calming this video is 🌿
you're professional person. Good job 👍🏻
Thanks a lot!
Nice job. I might have used epoxy for the handle swell.
Thanks Gary. Glad you like it.
That paint looks like crap. Ruined the whole project.
😂 thanks for the comment Gary
Outstanding
Thank you!
Wyglada spoko jak w użytku ?
Yes!!
WOW! GORGEOUS! How have I not discovered your channel before now? SUBBED! Your content is right up my alley! Greetings from the PNW 🇺🇸! 🪓🌲🪓🌲
Thanks and welcome
Beautiful! Such quality work!
Thank you very much!
The way the grain runs in that handle, and the exaggerated curves, ensure that the handle will split.
Thankfully, after a year of heavy use, the handle is still going strong and hasn’t split.
You aren't supposed to paint the eye .
Why is that?
Nice job, the yellow stripes and head are a nice change to the usual unpainted look that for example gransford do with your design if you drop it in the woods there's a good chance you can find it again. Respect from Ireland.
Thank you very much!
Thanks a lot Neil. That’s a good observation that I hadn’t thought of. Thanks!
Beautiful views, and amazing nature!!❤❤
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Adam your video is so good! The drone footage is very smooth and cinematic. Good job 👍😄 I enjoyed your video 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
And it will bring you holy tourists. Well done.
So relaxing!
It really is!
Beautiful job!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful job!
Thank you! Cheers!
beautiful!
Thank you!
I like the fact that you didn't mirror polish the whole head. That process can remove a lot of material that is needed for the strength of the head, plus a bit rough looks good. I used evaporust on the Axe I restored and it worked fantastic. Very nice work overall.
Thanks very much Simon. I’ve used Evaporust and found it works really well, especially with a wire brush after 24 hours.
@@HelloAdam_ Evaporust leaves a nice vintage looking patina too which you can leave on for a nice look.
Beautiful visuals mate! Loved it 👏👏👏
Thanks very much mate, appreciate it!

Чудово !! Лайк !

Handsome job! 👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks a lot!
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Great job! I, personally would have removed the paint, but it's your project and it looks great either way!
Thanks very much Robert; I appreciate the comment and your opinion!
Be careful grinding on steel on your belt sander. I found the plastic dust outlet melted by red hot particles off the steel when I did so. Loved the handle.
Thanks for the advice Glyn, I appreciate that. I’m glad you liked the handle as well!
Wrong decision ! . . . . To leave that orange paint on it. It diminishes the look of the axe. Rating of a 6.5 INCOMPLETE !
Thanks Roy, I appreciate your honesty.
Great
Thanks!
The edges and handle look incredible. Too bad you didn't feel the need to work as hard on the rest of the axe.
Thanks for commenting Jay! I don’t like making the axes look brand new. I always like to leave a bit of their story and history intact.
Great job on the hammer nice and shiny. Too bad that work bench doesn't have a matching finish.😅👍
Thanks Anthony! If you look at my recent videos, I’ve definitely upgraded the work bench. The old one was horrible! 😂
whay do you leave the fake orange on it ??
Thanks for your comment! I wanted to try something different with this one and keep some of the axe’s history intact.
C O O L !!!
Was it more expensive to get to the polish, than what you may of gotten for it ?..Great video BTW God bless you and your family 👪 🙏...thanks for the hard work you put into the channel..Lee
Hi Lee, thanks for commenting and glad you liked the video! I never intended to sell this I always planned on keeping it, but yes all the sandpaper did cost quite a bit 😅
My first video of yours and you restorate a Sandvik axe. Sandvik is a neighbor in my company’s building. Nice job! Love the handle!
That’s cool! Where about is your company? And thanks for watching and commenting, glad you like it!
@@HelloAdam_ Germany.

Great work!
Thank you!
Very nice indeed
Thanks very much! And thank you for watching and commenting.
Very nice indeed.
Thank you!
I just found a 1952 Elwell 5122 handheld fireman's axe. It is a rusty old thing. Perhaps some attention to it may be of merit. It does have an attractive form to it. It is likely not worth much. But finding something this old is rather a treasure to me, whether it is worth little or a lot.
Sounds like a great find, and definitely worth the effort and attention to restore it! The financial worth has no matter really, the process is worth it.
Really enjoy the peace and serenity of watching you work.!. Keep up the great content!
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that you enjoy the videos!
Nice job but those belts run to fast for sharpening. Ruins the temper!
Thanks John, I’ll bare that in mind for future projects.
Absolutely gorgeous! Nicely done!
Thanks very much, I appreciate the comment 👍🏻
Great History ,wonderfull work, greetings from Ecuador mu friend
Thank you very much, Gustavo!
How old tihs Axe is
Thanks for your comment Janne! Unfortunately, I don't know how old this axe head is. There are no distinguishing maker's marks, or anything that I could research. It was in a pretty bad way when it came into my possession though...
