It was one bike with a custom frame and the second side was made to look like the first for the balance of weight, airflow, and cosmetics, and handling. Clearly you thought it was two bikes so the effect was successful. This project was more than 12 years ago. If you have strength and experience in design and fabrication, if you can transition from one prototype to any kind of volume production, you should design and build a wheelchair motorcycle and make it available, there are thousands of disabled people around the world just begging for a good solution. That is such a personal thing it depends on each person's individual dexterity, even Comfort touching things just like an able-bodied person some people are scared to touch chopped up fish or worms. Most of our clients with no finger dexterity fish with a friend or buddy who helps them bait the hook and take a fish Off The Hook after they catch it. But to do it independently would be much like figuring out how to eat and hold a fork independently. Something that could be worked on with an occupational therapist, the other option is to simply use fake bait called lures so you don't have to put anything on the hook.

You can cast pretty consistently about 30 ft maybe 35 ft. We've redesigned it with multiple joints and large springs, etc to try to increase the casting range, but found it was simply a function of Newtonian physics mass times acceleration equals the force applied to launch the bait. So you either have to throw it faster with greater acceleration or increase the mass. But an increase in mass of the weight of the bait doesn't make a huge significant difference. So you pretty much just need to accept 30 to 35 ft being realistic. Or as I considered changing from catapult technology which is really what a fishing rod is a lever throwing away to projectile technology in other words shooting the bait out with compressed air. Which we could build but the market simply not big enough to justify the development cost. We would need a grant to help fund it and that simply hasn't happened yet.
