THE QUARRY MENTIONED?

In the children’s book series The Dark Is Rising by Susan Cooper, the Queen of the Sea is actually located in the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean, deeper than we humans have ever been able to research yet. I really like that, she’s not some kind of typical mermaid kind of character, but more like some sort of deep sea creature. Tbh now I want to draw some deep sea creature inspired merfolk, there’s a deep sea fish with a see-through head that kind of looks like a spacesuit helmet, and that’s really cool. I forget the name, but there’s another deep sea fish that’s this scary looking pitch black eel thing, but it’s got little pink spots on its cheeks like it’s a kawaii anime character blushing.

I found them cool so tempting to influence haha ^^' Turn dogs into writers (Afghan greyhound who writes poetry i.e, bulldog some polars, idk ?) Butterfly wizards (maybe the opposites/antagonists of moths witches?) Household appliances as chefs/cookers (fridge, blender, electric mixer, .... - the blender would turn everything into SOUP haha ^^) Love, love, love your lores by the way !!! (just finished the bird pirates and i visualised an entire serie of comics while you were drawing) You really inspire me into creating stories ^^ ! Have a good day all :)

Notes: To avoid "skragly" fur... Between coats take a paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol, scrub scrub, then brush out with pet brush. Lightens the color slightly, but keeps the fur soft. A trick I learned from @KayPeaCreations So he doesn't look like he's falling off your back so much, and so he's not so heavy just on your shoulders..... Cosplay traveler's backpack. Sleeping roll on the bottom, giant dragon/bird/cat on the top. 😂

I love these designs, especially that you designed them with thought given to the function of their armour and weaponry, and also didn’t make them all white stereotypically Western European knights. It got me inspired to draw some OCs for a fantasy setting I’m working on for a story or maybe a tabletop RPG game in the future.

I NEED you to watch the 2002 Snow Queen hallmark movie. It’s based on the original Hans Christian Anderson story and it has such a unique take on seasons embodied by women.

It's funny because I created some seasonal deities for my DnD campaign about 10 years ago, and I have not stopped drawing them in (almost) all of my sketchbooks. I love your seasonal witches, btw! Wonderful work, PricklyAlpaca. I always love watching your character design videos. So good. 🥰

Uranus is Gaia's Ex husband who I still can't remember the name of Neptune is Poseidon Pluto is Hades Poseidon/Neptune, Hades/Pluto and Zeus/Jupiter are all siblings in both mythologies

Jupiter is equivalent to Zeus Mars is Aries a child of Zeus Saturn is Kronos I don't know which because I think there is multiple plus Kronos is Zeus's dad by the way kronos tried to EAT his kids😅 Also Rhea is wife of Kronos mother of Zeus and his siblings Titan is think refers to the Titan's loyalty to Kronos

If we're going based on Greek mythology Venus being Aphrodite in Greek mythology earth or Gaia is like a weird step daughter for Gaia because Aphrodite was born from the broken parts of Gaia's Ex husband who I forgot the name of😂

I really love how the underside of the witch hat spring & fall have, both point out and are spiky, while summer & winter have a hood type of design because in way it shows despite those seasons (not personality wise but activity wise) being opposites they're still connected in some way!! i'm also just imagining spring saw summer's toad with a bow and was like "I LOVE THAT" and gave it to her deer even her staff to top it all off since summer's an inspiration to her 😭💞

I need advice! I'm also an artist and I always love watching others do these full page, front and back, multimedia sketchbooks. I happen to be FAR too precious with my work, and tend to stick to just one or two mediums per piece, and *everything* either ends up being a "piece" or just tossed, forgotten, and abandoned. I KNOW this hinders my growth as an artist and would very much appreciate any advice on breaking out of that habit and getting a little more ~wild~

not usually the active commentator but I gotta say your unique designs and challenges really inspire me to come up with more creative ideas, especially when it comes to worldbuilding or character creation for my own little stories. I love to watch your videos while sketching or brainstorming, helps me get a fresh perspective on ideas that I`ve been quite stuck on!

Wow, you made me google the difference between frog and toad :D In my language (czech) they are all "žába", but then we call them by their first species name (for example toad-ropucha, tree frog-rosnička, edible frog-skokan etc.) Thanks again for a nice video and also help with my english vocabulary! :)
