Great video, thanks. One point: I think its not necessary at least for all to turn supporting leg 180 degrees. Some may kck better when they turn it less, be quicker etc but as a foundation 180 is good so it makes practising people to turn it at least 90 =) Hitting point should be ball of the foot or front edge of the shoe to get it most destructive power. When practising with a person always with top of the foot for safety reasons. If you accidently kick with force with ball of the foot its most likely a KO.

hi sensei ❤️, I'm trying to learn the wicked jump... but nothing, I try and try again, but I can't quite understand the rotation technique, and I can only raise one knee, while the other swings lower and lower. how can I do? the rotation happens, but I don't understand how to combine the jump (bringing the knees to the chest) with the rotation at the same time, and then landing in kokutsu dachi.

Can you further break down the two types of turns in Kihon? I've been practicing them a lot but I'm struggling to land in a wide enough stance. For example, the second turn (Move 8?), I can move my back leg around and turn most of the way but I either get dizzy or my front foot isn't out/forward enough when completing the turn. I can "get by" and then I look down and see I need to correct myself. I see you do it in the video and I just can't seem to grasp how it's done. Also, do we drag the feet across the floor or are they raised slightly? Dragging makes it a little easier but lot slower, whereas raising the feet is faster but I lose balance often. Cheers!
