Fishing for Suwanee Bass in Valdosta GA
I've already completed the GA Bass Slam but I wanted to catch more Suwanee Bass so I went back down to Valdosta Georgia. I caught a few Suwanee and also hooked into a long nose gar.

I went fishing for gar but ended up catching my PB Altamaha Bass. The last time I went to this part of the river I hooked into a gar with my texas rigged trick worm. I was hoping to do the same but get it in the net.

Suwanee Bass for my 2024 Georgia Bass Slam

Went to Valdosta GA to catch Suwanee Bass to add to my 2024 Georgia Bass Slam. I thought I would be able to catch Suwanee Bass without having to unload my kayak, I was wrong. I even caught my first ever bowfin. It wasn't easy as I expected but I was able to finally find and catch a few Suwanee Bass.
is this a Suwanee Bass?

i caught what i thought was a Suwanee bass but then all the stripes disappeared as soon as i pulled him out of the water. The stripes came back when I put him back in the water for the release.

Went fishing for Tallapoosa Bass with my cousin to add to my Georgia Bass Slam. Another angler with a kayak hit up all the fishing spots before we could wade up to them, making the fishing difficult. I was fortunately able to catch a few including an 11 inch angler award Tallapoosa Bass.

Definitely a Suwannee Bass. I was just there on Saturday. Caught several Florida Bass and only one Suwannee in 11 hours worth of fishing. It’s a long drive to go home empty handed.

I tried for one about a month ago and didn’t catch a fish. Hope to try again soon. Need Altamaha, Chattahoochee and Suwannee bass.

My mistake, the fish in the intro was a rock bass

You can catch them in parts of sc near the state line too, I love catching these little guys.

So I did get one last year but it was to small. Going again soon to try, I’ll hope it works out.
Any vibration issues after? My S14 has an excessive vibration you can feel throughout the entire car and it gets worse as the speed goes up and the RPMs are higher
Did you hammer out the tranny tunnel to make room for the cd009, i didnt make enough space and have vibrations too.
@@dedicatedfisherman yes, the shop that built my car, which has done many of these swaps, hammered it all out. No one can figure out wtf it is
@artnaz93 if you still have your stock tranny and drive shaft and dont mind hard work, swap it back in and test the car. If the vibration is gone then id say your cd009 is bad or your drive shaft is out of balance
Had the same issue but I don’t notice it as much as when I first got it put in. Using the Mazworx kit on my SR.

I went on my trip, got a hybrid no pure fish. I need to go back
Which lures did you throw?
@@dedicatedfisherman I went to the tallapoosa, then the etowah and some creeks, then to the taccoa and Chattahoochee on the way back home. I used some small cranks, Ned rigs, flukes, rooster tails, and trick worms. - only caught 4 bass, none the size or species I needed. Very disappointing trip but it was fun. I’m a long way from upstate Georgia so it’s the first time I’ve fished for bass up there.

So I’m gonna try to finish up my slam, it’s nearly 5 hours up there. I hope I can get the Chattahoochee bass the most. It seems like it’d be the hardest one to catch. This Friday I’m going to try to do a bass slam tour.
