Shouldn't even be 17. 12 is probably plenty. Cut the divisional games in half. We don't need to play those teams twice a year, and other teams not at all for years.

So here's a crazy thought.. Maybe this is kinda what Chris Ballard has seen coming. We get mad, no big name signings, but maybe from Ballard's point of view, 17, possibly 18 games, is alot let's get multiple decent players we can rotate and play throughout yr. We have no great TE but we have 4 good ones. Keeps us rotating TE keeping then healthy for the yr. We don't have a great WR but we have 4 really good ones, to share the work load all season. JT has decent backups, so he dose t have to play every snap. It really is logical when u think of this way y ballard. Builds the way he does. Just need the coaching staff to develop it. A great coach named Bellichek said. NEXT MAN UP DO YOUR JOB.

Ok. I mean at this rate not having a QB is the norm around here these days so I’ll wait till game 1. I was lucky enough to live out my glory days with Manning at the helm. I think we owe the football Gods still for blessing this city with such a great QB.

Nick cross had one bad year let the youngster learn and I'm sure he has. I'd like people to view you two and your followers the same way.

Mallory and Woods 💯

safety feels like by far the biggest weakness on this roster. Julian Blackmon is good, but injury prone and Rodney Thoams and Nick cross have been inconsistent. Getting Simmons in here would do a lot to help the team immediately, mentor a guy like nick cross, or just be a stop gap for this season. knowing Blackmon's injury history, there will come a game where he will be out. Do we really feel confident having Nick Cross and Rodney Thomas back there? especially having basically no quality depth pieces behind them. those guys would be good backups, but bad starters. Getting Simmons would elevate this defense by a lot. Our secondary is our biggest weakness. Julain Blackmon and Justin Simmons would be an amazing duo. That safety tandem would take pressure off our corners, giving them confidence that they'll help with deep routes, which ill help corners focus on shorter passes. Our front 7 is elite as it is. If our secondary makes a quarterback hold onto the ball just an extra second, Latu and Buckner will be meeting at the QB. I seriously believe that just by adding Simmons this defense will go from average to elite.

Yo we needed 2 safeties before Scott went down.Yeah literally everyone has been on the forefront of the Colts 100% needing to enhance the safety room.
