    Muscle contraction will promote blood flow and increase lymphatic drainage, which promotes healing and recovery. How do you get a muscle contraction? You can pay $600 for this, $50 for another type NMES unit, or do common dynamic exercises like jumping jacks for free.

    also, can the hamstrings be done in a sitting position or does the athlete have to be in a laying down position?

      The athlete would ideally be laying down on their stomach to get the hamstrings out of tension. You can also put something soft at the base of the ankle to relax the posterior muscles even more. A hamstring session can be done in a seated position but we'd recommend putting a pillow underneath the knees to slightly elevate the hamstrings. Body positioning has an impact on the contraction strength and comfort - the less resistance on the muscle you're working on, the better.

    Great video! Thanks Mike for this info from such a credible source. I am an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine AND I am USPTA (United States Professional Tennis Association) certified as well. I believe the MarcPro device is essential for tennis players, especially at the pro level where they must recover quickly and be ready the next day all too often. There are no 'pinch hitters' in tennis! Proper training + right nutrients + MarcPro = Optimal Performance-- day in & day out.

    Hello! Is anyone available to answer these questions about the Marc Pro? Does it use DC current? Does it have the ability to be mono phasic and/or bi phasic? Is it square waveform? Are there any safety features built into the device such as channel cut out safety? Is the device menu driven? Does it come with any preset programs? Does it have more than one program? If so, do you have the ability to save your favorite programs or frequently used programs?
