I have the same drum filter as you your best to soak the new screen in hot water in the bath as they can crack it makes it' easier to shape

Love your theory on the pigeon, i have a robin that comes to be hand fed every morning while the rest of the garden bird's go to the feeding station. Glad you managed to get home without any substantial disaster. Gwen 🧓

It's not a 3 stage filter it's a pressurised vessel it looks like a big blue only smaller and cheaper and you wouldn't have the trouble you had with the 4 inch pipe

Vyair 11 litre water filter vessel are quite cheap I have 2 that I added carbon they are so much cheaper than big blues you can buy them empty and just add your own carbon

The statement ‘probably one of the best koi in the U.K.’ is one of, if not the worst things to say. Unless you have seen all of the koi in the U.K. I really do not see how you can make such a statement. Its unnecessary and derogatory to other peoples koi who I’m sure are much higher quality

Sorry to hear fish are sick. Hopefully the bad parasites will be gone soon. Here in ice cold Canada I don't get them cause fish live under ice in ice cold flowing water so parasites don't like that.

It looks like you done everything correctly. I've never had any problems using pp. Did you have enough air going through the pond? It should be like a jacuzzi when using pp. Sorry you lost a few mate 😪

I’ve seen this done on CZcams just saw the black cap off then use a straight rubber connector

Hey, wouldn't feed Saki H balance below 12c, Below 10c nothing at all. Takazumi is an alright food but not a patch on SH. If SH get anymore expensive think I'll try FD. Cheers Keith

I feed takazumi vital for a few weeks but I got a lot of poo on bottom of the pond if you can let’s us now how you get on with it please

I feed takazumi mate I use vital with easy mix 50/50 ratio in the colder months and Takazumi mix in summer I get it all from Wakefield koi

The gin rin shiro is a beauty ide say it’s a slow burner & will become a stunner in another year or two. George has a great eye & knows how to look after them. I purchased 1 of his stunning NND shiro utsuri which is around 43cm & being over wintered till spring. Great pond & koi.

This damage to the air ring has been caused by the Ozone. Unfortunately our diffusers are NOT compatible with Ozone as it is a very harsh oxidising gas that will damage the diffuser membrane. Please note: Our diffusers can be used in a pond where ozone is in use (once the ozone is fully mixed/reacted) but they cannot be used to diffuse the ozonated air itself. *Ozone should be diffused using ozone resistant air stones which should be recommended by the Ozone supplier. Please either return the air ring to us for a replacement membrane to be fitted (subsequently not to be used with ozone), or a full refund can be issued.
