zhlédnutí 155Před 21 dnem
Testing is underway of the Beretta 1301 and Benelli M4. In this video I am simply covering the specs of the 1301. Since I've already covered the M4, the next video will be all range content. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty stoked on this project.
Browning or Winchester Gas Gun not Cycling? You may need to replace these parts.

Waypoint vs Ridgeline FFT
zhlédnutí 8KPřed 9 měsíci
Waypoint or Ridgeline FFT? It really comes down to what application the rifles are being used for. Give us your thoughts. thanks for watching.
please adjust the camera, so we could see how you disassemble the gun. thanks
Had 1 ordered for 2 months, 22 250 bronze, have not heard a thing HOG of guns, Boswell Okla
Sig does have the adjustable gas block.
Not the M400. The M400 is a direct impingement gas operated rifle. It has a low profile, mid-length gas block. The piston operated rifles like the 516 and the MCX do have adjustable gas blocks.
top one for sure
I have Beretta A300 Ultima, A400 Extreme Plus, and Stoeger M3500. All good guns. I kinda like the feel and swing of the Stoeger better. All cycles everything I put in them.
I shoot a 390 and my buddy a sbe. When we trade guns I don't notice the difference in recoil(shoulder pain) with duck loads while hunting, but I DO notice I can get back on target quicker with the Beretta due to less recoil. I say that even though I think the SBE feels better when I shoulder it. A400 xtreme will be my next shotgun.
I would echo your comment. I have a 390, 300 ultima, and a 400 Xtreme Plus. Gas guns really just have less recoil which equates to getting back on target much faster. Inertia guns have a great reliability factor though. BUT much like AR piston systems vs gas systems the gas systems have improved so much the gap is now near zero. I would also say if you are willing to do the research and go to a 2 3/4 shell in the 1250fps to 1350 fps range you will slay more birds due to even less recoil. My 2 3/4 hand loads worked wonders last season and out of the A400 it almost felt like the gun didn't fire the recoil was so low.
@@DavidBnks02 I might try some 2 3/4 during teal season.
@@pjoffrion I would strongly recommend it. There's nearly no pellet increase in a 3" shell over the 2 3/4. So realistically less recoil will kill birds than 15-20 more pellets.
That snake skin come factory?
Surprised that you did not include any over-unders.
I have that same generation M2 field gun but honestly I like using my Ithaca 37 20 gauge more!
I got both in 6.5 Creedmoor, waypoint likes the heavier 156 by Norma and CA likes the Hornady match 140’s. The CA does out shoot my waypoint but waypoint feels better.
I've owned over 20 Benellis. Not all Benellis shoot higher. It's a problem specific to the SBE3. Also, any Benelli with a 3" chamber instead of the SBE's 3.5" chamber will shoot light loads. I regularly shoot slow 1oz loads in my Benellis with ZERO issues.
lol no the trigger does not blow a trigger tech away. The diamond is the best trigger on the market
Beretta
For me the Benelli is lighter smaller and faster when walking and jump shooting.
That Montefeltro is HANDS DOWN my #1 all-time wishlist shotgun. I wish to God I could afford that thing. It is, by far, the smoothest action I have ever felt on any long gun. You can literally pull that bolt back with judt a pinkie finger. Excuse me while I go find a bib to control my drooling over this gun.
I shot Benellis for years M2, SBE11 very successfully. I got an SBE 111 and struggled with it for a year until I gave up. No matter what I did it just didn’t work for me. I bought an A400 plus and everything came together. I am extremely happy with it even though it failed to cycle on my last hunt. (I have never had any of my Benellis fail).
I've owned all three of these guns and the Beretta A400 is by far the best of the 3.
Had a SBE 2 years ago. Was the best shotgun I had ever owned. Was about ready to buy the SBE 3 but figured I better do some research. I use the 3.5 inch shells for coyotes and have gotten a bloody lip a few times while patterning the SBE so the A400 may be a better option. Great video. Thanks for your time end efforts.
What shotgun is better for you?
While I love both, the A400 edges out the SBEIII for me personally. It's hard to beat those oversized controls, B LINK gas system, and the kickoff.
Those first patterns were similar enough that basic aim/ballistic trajectory variation differences make it tough to call a winner...both look good.
Can already tell this is gonna be a good one.
Don't forget guys a big point you missed is the Beretta safety is on the front of the trigger guard witch is a big minus for a lot of guys.and you should do a video on the rem vc 3
that first rifle is very nice, is it worth more?
Love the rifle, disliked the RIP DMX - ruined an otherwise good video.
It would be my next weapon, choosing a shotgun for Water Fowl. As of now me and the son share a Wetherby 20g Auto with a reaper choke. I have always respected the Duck Commander men and love the baseball stitch look down the stock lol. I never knew it had the parts in the stock though. I Look forward to the next videos! Thanks
Thanks, brother.
I own both guns in 12 gauge however, I like the A 400 more. It’s just soft shooting and I’ve just enjoyed a gas operation system. I believe the Beretta has the edge. My SBE lll is a backup now. Thank you.
Really enjoy the production quality on the video. Looking forward to the rest of the series
Thanks man. Appreciate all the detail. I already have an A400 Extreme Plus so hopefully it's the right choice!
That takedown is cool the coolest I've seen, that is a would buy for me... the Christianson arms is just an overpriced 10/22 with a bolt action that's why I dident buy it... I mean if you want an out the box custom that's it... the bagarra could have went without carbon fiber wraped barrel and I would have bought it, also the stock is foam filled which was a no go for me... good little vid
i used to go to sportsmans outpost all the time until they sold it
Maxus over the A5
Soo.. We have no winner and nothing chosen. That's how I felt before I showed up. Thanks.. Nothing.
I purchased one recently and the factory trigger is very heavy out of the box, although it does lighten up a bit after 200 rounds. Much heavier than my previous Springfield Armory Saint model.
my response for 4 months about 1,000 rounds it is excellent very accurate love this rifle with the Glock mags❤😊 very easy to clean awesome
Thanks for the video. On January 3rd, Mrgunsngear posted a video review of the Response, which includes failure to extract issues (at the 14:33 minute mark) and an out of battery discharge (at 17:08) that blew the magazine out of the mag well and blew a pretty good size chunk out of the left hand side of the receiver. I purchased a response prior to his video being released an haven't fired it yet.
I'll have to check that video out. Thank you for the info. Hope you have better luck with yours.
good job compareing apples to oranges........especially when you favor oranges........ do a better job.
If we are comparing the actual fruits, I prefer apples over oranges. If we start talking about the juice, orange wins, no contest.
Is this gun still available?
Sx4 is the clear winner by a mile
Stogers are garbage and tecoil horribly.
Just bought one, and for the money, the action should be bedded and maried up to the stock, and you'll get .5moa 1 out of 5 groups more like 1 inch guarantee. My sako will shoot sub .5 moa on avrage. I'll bed the action to see if it can match their guarantee.
What’s the difference on the life of a barrel steel barrel should worry about burning the barrel carbon fiber not sure how many rounds can you run true it 1500? Before starts deflating different directions??
Watching that dude rock back and forth made me sea sick… 😅
Fantastic review! Loved the Tool reference! Life long Tool fan. "If you dont love Tool, you're wrong!" 😂 Cant wait to get this rifle. Thanks boyz!
Where im at in commiefornia those 2 are $900 difference night and day. Ill go with the cheaper saint victor mainly cus like i said its a $900 difference in commiefornia
The background music is annoying guys. It’s like my phone is ringing and never stops.
What background music?
No locking bolt on either rifle? Sorry but that is a deal-breaker for me...Thanks for the reviews 👍
Hey, kinda new to bolt action rifles, you mean no locking as in no safety to prevent the bolt from unlocking? Also how does this help? genuine question, thanks.
Redline vs Ridgeline? That’d be a nice video.
Matt Damon? Lol
Thanks guys
Hey,why dont you buy a smith and wesson? I did and it blew up after 30 rounds in front of 20 people. The company said their safety saved me from injury cause l must have used wrong ammo even when the store had the ammo receipt along with the exact ammo recommended.this was the one with the open chamber no cover over the ejector.they make great handguns. Luv the revolvers.
