Coaster 365
Registrace 13. 12. 2017
In 2018 Coaster365 started solely as a Twitter account that provided a daily look at a different roller coaster from around the world - statistics, history, and any other fun facts! 5 years later, that same idea has finally come to CZcams! Join me, Bryant, as I profile AND review a different roller coaster, in person, from parks in the US (and around the world!) every single day for an entire year! Whether you know absolutely nothing about roller coasters, or are a diehard enthusiast, my goal is to provide both an educational and entertaining experience, with hopefully a few laughs along the way as well. Life is about having fun and not taking things too seriously. If those are words you like to live by, along with a taste for a bit of adrenaline, this is the channel for you! Enjoy :)
Excalibur - Maine's Only Major Thrill Coaster! (Full Review!)
The state of Maine might not be a state one thinks of when it comes to major roller coasters, and they'd mostly be correct. However, Maine does at least have one coaster of signficance, that being the wooden 1998 CCI called Excalibur! Located at Funtown Splashtown USA in Saco, Excalibur has a fantastic mix of airtime and lateral forces with a really well done theme! And thanks to a recent retrack by the Gravity Group, it's running better than it ever has. So join Megan and I as we give you the full breakdown about all things Excalibur at Funtown!

Six Flags New England Is Desperate For A New Roller Coaster! - June 2024 Vlog

Despite being located in a densely populated area, and always being a well attended park, Six Flags New England has not received a new, unique, and significant roller coaster in over 9 years! When do you pitch for Pawtucket?
Fantastic reference 👏😂
They used to have a really cool log flume ride back before they put the water park in. I was going in the late 80’s-early 90’s when it was still called Riverside
I still vividly remember riding the OG Cyclone back in the 90’s
I wish I would’ve gotten to ride it!!
Bryant, now that I experienced this coaster last week, I think your rating might be too kind. That moment after the first drop was brutal! I was in the third row and trying to keep my head steady, and it still violently made my head jolt. I was just ready for it to be over after that point. I agree about the purple color and the park in general, though! It was totally empty but was a fun time.
That moment is absolutely one of the worst I’ve felt on a coaster, brutal!!! I think I went a little higher because I didn’t find the rest of the ride that bad
@@coaster365 That makes sense. I’ll admit that I didn’t remember it had an extra helix until watching your video again this week. I just was ready to get off after the rough start.
So fast and sleek layout it snaking through the park 😊😊
The real rattler coaster
Right? Lmao
I want to ride the new cyclone but I also want to cry because the old one was beautiful. I know it was rough but it was like a piece of history.
A worthy coaster to “erase” that history IMO 😅
You clearly never rode the original wooden cyclone typical boomer
@@coaster365 yes and no lol this coaster doesn’t wow me. There are so many like it
It was this sunny and warm in February in NH???
I didn’t record these day of haha, the date is when the video was released on CZcams
Been on this plenty of times. One of my favorite wooden coasters.
This is my home park. Steamin demon definitely needs to go.
Raptorrrrr
Genuinely scared about this coaster, wooden coasters in the past have been disappointing when it comes to the airtime, such as dorneys thunderhawk and somewhat comet at hershey 2023, hoping this is better for when I ride it next week
Personally think it’s much better than both!
@@coaster365 im gonna go in with low expectations, but i am at the same boat as you, living in atlantic canada and having this park nearby but ive never been here, until next week that is
Pretty sure no dark rides because of local laws. Idk if the mouse trap style ride is still up but that was originally supposed to be a dark ride.
What laws?!
Didn't know it got the GG treatment. I AM going to ride that this season, honest. I've ridden one of the ones in Spain! Stampida, sort of like a smaller precursor to Hersheypark's Lightning Racer. I got a back-row ride and I liked it.
That’s a rare one!! Really glad to hear you enjoyed
I think I remember reading that you're one of the older riders like me (I'm in my 40's myself). I recommend 2nd to back row for smoothness and airtime. Got 15 of my 17 rides on the left side, 2nd to back. First drop is borderline elite!
@@DZH22 yeahhh, almost to the 40’s 😅, I’m 36
@@coaster365 Actually I meant Matt, as I read some of the comments on the local coasters! However, funny thing I just pointed you out to my kids today when you made a cameo on the Coaster Studios Storyland video.
@@DZH22 HA, that’s incredible!
I knew you'd love it! Watching your guys' reactions to everything from the walk-up to the after ride commentary was like rewatching Kristen and I's reaction! Makes me wanna stick it back on the 2025 revisit list!
Aw I love that so much!! ❤️ We may do the same!
“See you tomorow”😂😭
WILD how innate that was coming out of my mouth 😂
This review has me feeling nostalgic for OG Coaster 365 🤪😂
It felt the same recording it 😭😂, definitely more to come :)
Your upcoming trips have me very excited for what's to come. 😉
Running better than ever
I thought it was the second best coaster in the park. I thought it looked like it was going to be painful, but it wasn’t at all. When I started looking up reviews I thought I would find people saying that it was a hidden gem. But apparently everyone hates it😂
I know a few people that like this too, you are definitely in the minority 😅
sfne is a complete dump
That is definitely very very harsh
I’m going here tomorrow for my 4th time! Batman was my first bigger coaster and it’s my personal favorite in the park :) I just hate how long they take to load it. I rode wicked cyclone for the first time last month and man that ride is insane. My thighs hurt for three days afterwards lol. I didn’t know it was intense before going on it so that was a surprise lol 😂 I still have not done Superman though. I’m scared of it, it’s so big and that drop scares me. One day I’ll do it though. I’m sure it’s a great as everyone says it is but it looks too much for me still. I always do pandemonium first since that was the first ever ride I did here. It’s a good way to get myself prepared for other rides, and it always gets super busy.
Batman was my first big coaster too!! If this helps with Superman, Wicked Cyclone’s drop, while shorter, is way steeper and IMO more of a 😱 feeling, at least when it comes to being out of your seat, than Superman
lol riddler’s revenge (formerly mind eraser) is so bad it doesn’t even make the list 😂😂
It’s not a B&M 😛, it’s a Vekoma
@@coaster365 ahh that makes more sense
My dad used to do demolition durby there when it was river side in the 90s! I’ve only been there 3 times since it was 6flags. Im more of the frolic in the forest type.
I heard that they used to have that there!! That’s so crazy
Like Hershey park and Six Flags, United parks outside of Orlando is doing the same nonsense with there operations hours of 10 to 8 or 10 to something. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is one of United parks flagship parks, these operations hours especially in Williamsburg a tourist area is not good.
It does seems true night hours are becoming less and less frequent 😔
@@coaster365 At least Disney for know, is spending money to make Money. The same as Universal, United Parks operate in almost the same areas and Williamsburg market is similar to Orlando as an international tourist area. United needs to spend money to make Money or they should sell back to Busch.
Rumor has it a Sky Rocket ll is coming to the Goliath Plot next year
That…would make the least sense of any coaster type ever lol
@@coaster365 It fits in the plot
@@bigc1280 yes but there’s a Sky Rocket II less than an hour away at Lake Compounce
Looking forward to your Excalibur review. I hope you took my advice and got at least one ride 2nd from the back on the left side! Currently it's my #7 out of 50, and #1 wooden coaster out of 12 (just ahead of Coney Island Cyclone at 8, Twister at 10, and Phoenix at 14). I have the massively overrated, rough as all hell with a lame first drop Boulder Dash all the way down at 31/50. Can't wait for my next 17-ride day on Excalibur!
HOTTTT take with Boulder Dash haha, but we definitely rode Excalibur more in the back than front! Darn good time
When your feining for thrill rides so u might ask ur parents to go to nj
I honestly get it haha, it’s for sure the better Six Flags
My sister-in-law gave me a ticket for my birthday and I haven't had the time to check the place out yet! It's driving me nuts!
Well that’s very sweet of her!! You’ll have a great time when you do :)
As much as everyone, including myself, would love for them to do a launch coaster on these two plots, the infrastructure just isn't there and wouldn't be there without some major rehalls to the small town that the park resides in. In. They just don't have the power available to run a launch coaster, and they would have to pretty much rerun new lines directly from Springfield to get the power that they needed
Agawam has almost 30K people?? Granted I’m not an electrician but, I feel there are much smaller towns all around the word that have launch coasters lol
going in two weeks, im so excited
Glad you finally made it out there! My underrated coaster video released yesterday MAY OR MAY NOT feature this ride lol
HA, great timing!!
Delightful thrills
1:51 insert Pam meme "It's the same picture" . Wait, are you still teasing about the Taylor Bybee concert. I can't tell lol
Oh Marty lol, you are something else 😝
Haven't been there since 2014 really cool to see the park
2025 or 2026 seems like the year this park will get a coaster
I SO hope!! 😫
I’m heading to New England this Sunday. Do you think Riddler’s revenge will be open?
I’ve heard it’s been down a lot, if not closed all summer. I’ve only been to the park twice so far
Doubt it. waiting on parts from overseas...if they can even get them
I agree, we need a good launch coaster (or any launch coaster) at SFNE, which I also consider my home park (though Compounce and Quassy are closer to me), and it's been a long time since we got anything significant that is new, the last being Supergirl. (I definitely can't count the animatronic dinos to the kiddie ride an "upgrade.") I also have not ridden Riddler's Revenge since it was... Mind Eraser, actually. I will have to check otu thenew trains next time a friend is in the area for a credits run.
Here’s hoping 🤞🤞🤞
See you in two weeks! 😜

1) For the final time... Today was the *1* year anniversary of when this video was uploaded! 🤓 2) I didn't know that the Phoenix existed until recently. If I ever go on a ride again at Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park, I'd totally go on it... if I was able to! 😃
Highly recommend! Probably the 3rd best coaster at Coney haha
1. Mystic Timbers 2. Renegade 3. Prowler That order Ghostrider and Goldstriker are superior though from other manu.facturer
If Renegade got retracked, I could mayyyybe agree with this 😛
It’s astonishing you made it almost to 500 coasters without a Visa spinner in your count so congrats on that!
Right?! I honestly wanted to try to get to 500 before, but alas, a New England Visa was worth it haha
I read somewhere that a launch coaster at SFNE will never happen, because it’s in a pretty rural area and the existing power grid wouldn’t be able to support it. Maybe a dive coaster? Not super interesting to me but maybe makes sense for the Goliath plot.
Really?! I mean it’s not THAT rural lol, you can literally see the skyline of Springfield from multiple rides
I missed those parks when I went to Germany. Karnan looks amazing. Have fun!
Thank you man!!

Sucks that the last new coaster they gave us, Goliath. Was great the first time I rode it. Then it started vibrating your brain and having problem after problem only to be torn down and us losing our newest biggest coaster and them not replacing it. And they used to have a Log Flume Ride, Shipwreck Falls located in crackaxle canyon. My favorite ride when I was little.
Technically Goliath wasn’t even new, it was a relocation! And semantically, even Wicked Cyclone was just a reimagined Cyclone lol. So it’s really been since 2002 😬
I wish this park was better so i wouldn't have to go to NJ
