Give dem the credit where it drew I am in England and some part is not very clean .
To be honest Jamaica 🇯🇲 is a good country but some of the people dem is not clean so they keep the country dirty just like dem self.
Mannaz n Respect bredrin ow yu du. Few things fi sey, first, mi rate how yu present yuself, properly spoken with fi wi accent ,yes man yu gwaan good, respect. Second, yu kno sey a long long time mi a follow Colaz Smith and him bredrin Socks from waaay bak wen dem jus start, yah man, mi and mi cuzzin even try two a him recipe dem, we rate him man, nuff big ups. Third, we(Jamaicans) put the blame on the Govt and yes rightly so to some extent, but in my opinion there are numerous other factors to be considered, education, not school and books, but basic civil common sense education. We keep our homes clean, why cant we keep our country clean, impose strict rules on garbage, yes, the govt needs to import more equipment or hire locals. We as a people neeeeeeeds to take more pride, up our image, be activist for our environment, follow examples. In conclusion, each one teach one, yu see wen Colaz Smith come bak ome, express and show dem places like these to our people on his show, comment on it positive and negative and request suggestions and volunteers. Bless up, Jah guide and protect always.
If u dont know snything about your island, please do not compare with others. Im sure, not all of st. Vincent wateres are crystal clear, and we do have alot of crystal clears waters here also. No where on earth is perfect. How many ppl lives in st. Vincent, when compared to Jamaica? Im not making any excuse, our leaders, need to manage the country alot better, but. Vincy has its flaws also
Other than everyone cleaning up after their self is there a place in JA where all the garbage goes to be disposed of properly and do they have a trash truck pickup across the island ?
If you want the young children to be better citizens, stop corrupting them with dancehall abominable musics, that influences them into sexual immorality and violence. I blame dancehall for a lot of the violence as well as corrupt politicians, and parents who shouldn’t have kids. Because they don’t have any parenting skills and responsibilities.
A peer teef a run Jamaica, them need fi guh jail.
It's true i saw the streets in St.vincent Clean and the beaches.trueth hurt nuh true
Real talk me son ❤good to Highlight it’s a big issue hopefully we all listening and take this into deep consideration 🙏❤️🇯🇲🇺🇸
LEADERS OF LEADERS! Every country with black majority people need leaders like Burkina Faso's president Ibrahim Troare who can inspire them to love themselves... because most black people tend to hate themselves and can be easily be influence by others to betray their own, sell-outs and be divided against themselves. The colonized minds mentality inheritance is very strong.....So, can we all pray for bold, fearless God-fearing, gifted leaders like Burkina Faso's president Ibrahim Troare, Mia Motley of Barbados and NIGER'S and MALI'S Presidents? These are doing great for their countries. It's not the height of education or charisma that makes one an effective leaders...its the good stewardship of hard work, patrioticism and love for his/her people, its the gifts of farsightedness, foresight, insights and common sense! To understand your people by standing and intermingling with them on the common ground! With the Kingston Harbour…all the gullies in Kingston and st.Andrew end there, hence the result.
Glad U observe that Many people feel JA is so pretty but compared with what? Look at Darling Street, Coronation Market, and down town? All government after colonialism, bring the country down. Yes the people! But what law is put in place to deal with the problem?
The harbour is still messy lots of garbage. I did clean up work there for charity many times
I am a Vincy so glad to hear u compare your homelan JAd. Most of your comparison between JA and SVG. Well, it's all to do with JA leader, I'm wondering who is responsible for the JA currency it is shamefully low. JA is clearly bankrupt. Imagine they've built lovely highway roads that the ordinary citizens cannot afford to use because they have to pay at certain point toll. First and foremost work towards keep lovely JA clean and tidy. The leader have sold the country down the highway to bankruptcy!! You can do it...🇻🇨🇯🇲❤️❤️
LET ME ASK MY JAMAICANS WHO ARE LOOSING IT OVER COUPLE VIDEOS FROM ST VINCENT. IF IT IS SO GREAT THEN WHY IS IT THE 4TH POOREST COUNTRTY IN THE AMERICA'S BEHIND. Haiti-Honduras- Dominica🤔 WHY DOES THIS SMALL ISLAND CONSISTENTLY MAKES THE CRIME CHARTS SINCE 2013? PUT THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE. ST VINCENT WAS RECENTLY DESTROYED BY VOLCANOS AND HAD TO BE REBUILD. ST VINCENT DOESNT EVEN THE POPULATION OF PORTMORE ,SO OBVIOUSLY GARBAGE COLLECTION AND ROAD MAINTENANCE WOULD NOT BE AS PROBLEMATIC AS JAMAICA. WE NEED TO LOOSE THE BITTERNESS.
Fern goli is the strongest road in jamaica
Jamaica as a whole nasty not just the beaches . Our country treat the island as a whole as a trash dump. 😢😢Been to Bahamas and their beach way cleaner than ours
I want vincentians to watch this and realise what a beautiful thing we got going ..thank you bro for your honest review ...however we are still trying to be better ..and jus like Jamaica there are still a few things we need to learn ...but.....we are still the gem of the antilles ...and the food basket of the eastern caribbean..PLEASE COME AGAIN...tell others to come
The scene where Colaz flying the drone and diving is my Beautiful Island Bequia and this is just only 1 of the Grenadine Islands that is so clean and with clear water and Beautiful Beaches Colaz Smith we are welcoming you back to our Island anything I can not wait to head back home to Bequia from Canada 🇨🇦 on my Vacation.
Well Jamaica is clean compared to some other developing countries, But I get your point, it’s an eco friendly destination and should Up keep the environment.. ❤
MEK DEM IDIOTS GWAAN COMPARE APPLES TO ORANGE
I agree that we can do better on the south east coast of Jamaica but you have to take into consideration the factors that contribute to the population. Jamaicans can do better , we have to teach our children from their young. Kingston harbor like other large harbors is polluted . There are a lot more people living in Kingston than are living in the entire country of St. Vincent. There was a serious effort made in the 1980s by the then government to keep Jamaica clean. Since the change of government, things have went downhill. It all comes down to the will of the people.
Not even that .The Volcan help to clean up St Vincent.

IT IS SO MUCH TO DO IN YOUR TOWN..I NEVER KNEW IT WAS SO BAD..IM PRAYING FOR YOU ALL.❤❤.
Yummy
There is a part of our culture where a lot of Jamaican accept nasty and uncleanness as normal, Jamaican wasn't like that in the good old days, every home used to have a broom to make sure from the inside of the house to the outside of your gate is clean every day, now a day's you have to shame people to get them to change them nasty behaviour,we need to start to shame the streets vendors transport operators, community members, Mayer's and councillors and all others who polluted the streets gullies and beaches shurline publicly until they start to make noticeable changes.shame them also with public singes.
I noticed alot of Jamaican youtubers just throw their trash on the ground while cooking. On Colaz Smith, i suggested in his chat during one of his adventures and he got mad thinking i was being negative. I was not being negative. I suggested he get garbage bins for his guest because they were just throwing bottles and trash on the ground. His chat people said they burn the garbage when they are done. To me that was unacceptable healthwise. It seems Jamaicans are arrogant and cant take constructive advice. He then blocked me from the chat and told me that if it bother me so much, then i should send garbage bins to him. Just sad, its not hard to clean as you go or provide garbage bins.
He will pretend like he don't see your comment
Colaz is on a mission.... dealing with filth and dirt isnt one of them. All islanders in the carribean should understand what happens to garbage,
The Jamaican Government needs to start charging a fee to the litter bugs a yard
True words bro bless respect your views 😅🙏🏾 🙏🏾
Love and thanks my brother
Ever body need to clean up behind themselves it does not matter the size of the island Jamaicans who are still living there help to clean up the island please the government cannot do everything it begins from in the homes stop throwing your garbages on the side walks and on the beaches stop saying St Vincent is small and Jamaica is bigger Island that as nothing to do with keeping the place clean all the islands are beautiful it is clean up time now thank you
Amen to that well said.
Sir. Your points are very valid!! Civic responsibility and pride:Should be practice by all Jamaicans 🇯🇲 how can people dump on them selves????? What is the s solution to the problems:concerning the water ways and keeping the entire island clean ???
1. Provide adequate mechanisms for garbage collection and disposal. 2. Implement and enforce the laws on littering and improper garbage disposal. Heavy fines to make people comply. 3. Provide citizens with education 4. Provide incentives where possible to encourage behavior changes
its a domino effect if the parents fail the teachers will fail likewise.the home is the first school.is like a student fails to grasp the contents in grade one you can except him oe her excel in grade two
So true, but we have to try. Even if we can save a few, it's better than nothing
Thank you so much my brother for highlighting the very important fact about my sweet little Island SVG . Clean and beautiful and much thanks Colaz and continue to enjoy your stay in SVG I know Vincy Vybe taking good care of you and your team🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨🇨🇦
Most welcome 🙏
bahamas water is crystal clear no pollutants but when comes to the best water in the world is turks and caicos that water is so clear and beautiful
Greetings from the 784 SVG my friend. Earl Abbott here, Radio Broadcaster from St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Had the pleasure of doing a great interview with Colaz Smith just last week. Thank you for the vote of confidence in our beautiful island archipelago my brother! We are 32 islands and cays in St. Vincent & the Grenadines and though we may have our shortcomings, we are indeed a proud people, and we are most proud of our natural beauty. Now all of our roads aren't concrete roads, they exist more in the smaller islands. However on mainland we have undertaken a major islandwide road repair program. By year's end we would have achieved major transformations. Sandals has come to SVG as well and is among the jewels of the Hotel & Tourism sector. So too has ICC T20 Cricket matches at our newly upgraded stadium. We welcome the world to these shores to share in all of our once hidden treasures....
Thanks for the information. I appreciate the clarifications I hope to visit one day. I watched and enjoyed the interview with @colazsmithtv
@Earl Abbott, that was a beautiful interview, you were so warm to Colazsmith; I enjoyed watching!
With all due respect listen to what he’s saying. What is selling SVG right now is the cleanliness and the warmth and hospitality of the people, that’s what people are drawn to. The stadium and sandals are for economic reasons and May they prevail and not fail. Bless 🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨
Many of us Vincies are very proud of our islands, and many of us want to move back home. SVG clean up have been going on for a long time. We have to dispose of our garbage the right way. Our garbage is picked up by sanitation all over the islands. There are days for special pickup, like TV, fridge, and yard waste. You can not dump garbage around your house or the health department may show up and fine you. So I think it came down to policy, and everyone is doing their best to clean up. Most sites have trash cans. People are encouraged to take their garbage with them...
@@dahliadumitru2307 it was always known to be clean, growing up there I never saw garbage the men were always meticulous and organized. If it ever got to where policies have to be written to keep it clean what does it tell you? Never lose your values
Totally agree with you.
You're right, my brother, we as Jamaicans need to do better.
🇻🇨🇻🇨🇻🇨we love you ja
My bother, I am a Jamaican living in NY for almost 40 years and traveled all over. A group of eight took our first trip to St Vincent in May for eight days. We have never seen a place like this. We stay in the city for 2 days and never hear a car horn blowing, no stop light anywhere and the drivers know to stop at the crosswalk so people can cross the street. Not one person begging. We went to the markets and no one shouting to come buy from them. Even the vendors selling on the sidewalk is so respectful and mannerly. You want to see crystal blue waters you have to take the ferry boat to Cannowan, Bequia and Myreau where we stayed with our friend. No zinc fence, old board up houses, and building. You should see the government houses for the poor. Nice 2 bed room block house. Jamaica Government could learn a lot from little St Vincent. The Prime Minister was on the flight coming back to NY and I told him how much we loved the country and the wonderful time we had. He said we should come back and I sure will. Just as how Colaz experiencing the warmth of the people, the same treatment we got. Love my Vincy people.
Wow!what a beautiful experience, I hope to experience this one day
Thanks for coming and do come again.
ST VINCENT HAS NO ZINK FENCE??😂 POOR YOU ANGRY JAMAICANS
@@westkingston3135 🤣😂🤣😂😂
Love this about our beautiful island 🏝 🇻🇨💪👏
I am so happy you brought this issue forward! st. Vincent is the cleanest country I have seen- I don’t remember seeing any trash on the streets! I am new here so continue the good works!
Appreciate the support. Hope you subscribe and stay for more. God bless
St Vincent can never be clean as Grenada. Stop bragging because Grenada wins every time. For beauty crimes and friendliness. The most picturesque island in the Caribbean.
Bless your heart dear ❤ ,thank you for your wonderful view of my little but beautiful country ❤️ ♥️ 💙
All Carribean Island should be PLANTING and FARMING, to be able to EXPORT FRUITS and VEGETABLES, as a way to make Money, and to provide FOOD for their Country ! Carribean Islands all have WARM Climate to grow FRUITS and VEGETABLES all year around ! Plant Fruits and Vegetables in your BACKYARDS, to have FREE food all the time.
Export to each other or with countries that want to do business with you because unfortunately the rest of the powers that be have cut us out the market they don’t import or fruits and even if they put such a high tariff while keeping their low.
CLEAN up your TRASH !!!!
Please keep ALL Carribean Island, CLEAN !!!!!
FACTS !! 💯💯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
{Grenada and the Grenadines to St. Vincent and the Grenadines} Is one of the most beautiful places on planet earth said by global yachting magazines. Please take a look at Carriacou. Grenada second island in the Grenadines how clean the people are.
Colaz also mentioned that he wasn't allowed to shoot Parrot Fish which are protected in SVg
The environmental people always warned Jamaican about catching parrot fish, because it protects the eco systems, I also comment on Colaz channel about catching Parrot fish before.
Cleanliness begins at home. The way you keep your house is the same way you will keep the environment. It has nothing to do with the size of the island nor the number of the population. As a matter of fact, Jamaica has more money than St Vincent, so it has the resources to keep the country clean.
True word !! Hence why I do not like to go to the beach. Skin broke out my last trip over 15 yrs.
Did not know that so much garbage appears daily on the shores especially after a heavy rain fall. Any where up in the hills the garbage are it all gets wash down to the beaches. Had a view of the staff hired to clean up the place before we as customers go there.
15:11 Observe some of the Fisher men who goes diving. Once they swim back to shore with their catch the guts and clean the fish right on the shore. After that they clean their fish and rinse in ocean right on beach where patrons are swimming. That's a recipe for disaster chumming that water. Why we think shark attacks have been so frequent these days.
Yes yes yes true that my brother
St Vincent, is very clean, love Ja but can't come near vincy. Even the peoples heart cleaner than Jamaicans
😆 🤣
Battybwoy yuh dirty kitchen you cook ina, lets talk about that
Thank God me know the depth of my island ,so few negatives can't let me throw my people away
I think you should learn about Jamaica and how to conduct a proper interview before belittling Jamaica and Jamaicans
@@homeandgardenfixandtricks6938 Tell colaz fi clean di dutty kitchen vefore him cook
Bredda used your common sense or you nah go make cents.... Say kingston water pollution not Jamaica... A next thing you can't compare a place with less than 100k people to a place that have millions atlease on the topic of pollution cause obviously it don't take nothing to clean up after a island where all inhabitants can hold down a national Stadium ..... Anyway next time when you fly go montegobay cause you no know Jamaica, you a used 1 small place to judge the whole island
It's still not too late to delete this video
You never watched the video, hence your reasoning. The entire jamaican coastal region is heavily polluted with the execution of the tourist areas.and even those are under threat of pollution. Though st. Vincent is a smaller population it is also very much smaller in land mass compared to jamaica, so your argument is flawed. I mentioned old harbour bay fishing village, rocky point etc.
Population of SVG isnt less than 100k
Him and colaz a waste man
Bredda use your commonsense. SVG 's population is over 100,000. Instead of bashing the content creator, why not endeavor to make a difference?
