Dude I hear what you say but 80% of the people want to win with low cost. They think they know better and there is no commitment. I still play alone and I met over 3000 people, got 5.500 hours of fun, still do. When I get into M3, its more like to finish it alone or by 1-2 people that are still online with enough patience and got the know-how. But its hurting and not fun to play with dump and backstubbing people. Gen Z gaming aint that fun and they influence others along. But there are lots of us still playing casually...now we wait for LOTR (New World real game update)

PvP is the only thing this game has, but the devs suck. These Morons haven’t added any new types of PvP and they suck at balancing. It is so frustrating! I love PvP too. Open world PvP used to be a blast too but they lost it because they purposely changed it in order to appease pve players. Dumb. The devs don’t know what type of game they are trying to make.

Well I understand your connection with the title, but I feel it's all wishful thinking. There were no will to address dwindling player numbers for so long most people forgot about this game. NW will be competing with Throne and Liberty for resources, launching in September under AGS banner. Cross platform may not help NW at that point. Imo Aeternum is too little too late, especially most people didn't bought appaling mount DLC and as far as I know it's required to upgrade to Aeternum. Does there'll be additional cost again, this game won't survive. Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

this game fucking sucks, used to be some of the best time ive had gaming with friends.. but now adays its just so bad..so upsetting.

The major failure of this game is once at end game there is no more feeling of progression. It just turns into a grind that gives you absolutely nothing in return but is required to maintain a fraction of power level. You can poor countless hours into grinds and still get 1 shot by the PvP crowd and PvE still requires a ton of support to achieve anything. Makes you feel weak and why do I want to feel that after putting in so much time. At the end I felt like I had no time to enjoy the game because of all the bloody daily slogs I had to do which took up like 6 hours a day which is way way too much. Let us be free to develop our characters in specialized roles and be rewarded for it. Give us a reason to return not just click in for a job.

Man I had many years to play a game this much. Last time was with Dota 2 10 years ago. And now I don't know when i will love a game that much again. I hope the game will keep up.

I heard NW still has major bugs during 50 vs 50 wars. I don't have hope for this engine for the upcoming LOTR. It needs to be overhauled to new version. It's got too many things going on with it (like client side security). And i heard Devs hate working with it as well. But i love the lore. It's worth saving.

what a huge announcement it was xD they will farm naive console players for the last money they get on NW, then they will move NW ip to the new studio they opened in europe and will go in "maintenance mode" , the main studio will work on LOTR MMO...thats it guys!

interesting video to watch post summer games fest... im a player with 1k hrs but quit about 6 months ago, tbh also lowkey hopeful about the future of the game even with all the current controversy, game is a solid foundation but the summer games fest pr did not do the announcement justice, from veteran pov (as it was clearly catered to new players) ps: having to wait for october after already having no good endgame updates other than like you discussed the 1 dungeon or new set of artifacts released every season is unfortunate...

First of all , at the start artifacts was ok. But for me was ok to add in to one season and end with artifacts because broke all about game is designed for. A two handed axe that works on int? Second one: you are talking clearly about the perspective of a pure PvE player that refuse all PvP content, but to be honest activities that didnt are PvP are about PvE. So to pick up artifacts i think is fine like is 50% about Pve activities and 50% about PvP to make people play all aspects of the game . But for me to make New World a game where you make a builds with a common sense a mage that must go int or focus or a warrior that is about str artifacts must be remove. Right now become a non sense,... RPG aspects of the game where completly destroyed, "warriors" with mage staves hiting harder that real "mages" and mages with axes hiting harder than a real "warriors"... they must find other ways to make theorycrafting that works with the game as it is designed and stop this shiet.
