What is better and sounds better I use the current Beyerdynamic DT 990 pro and considering either the Audeze Maxwell or Beyerdynamic DT 1990. I really like wireless but I rather have what sounds better and is better overall and I these would be for gaming and music listening.

Stupid question - what's the Bluetooth for? Getting the audio out of some device eg iPhone instead of cable?

I thought 7 watts would be louder than that, given that some boom boxes are 7 watts. I was expecting the drivers to buzz like mad and you having to raise your voice to be heard over them. I thought it would pop on the test tone. Though as the mic is right by you it's hard to get a reference.

The 490 Pro all the way. They are so underrated it’s unbelievable. I knew that when DMS was literally flip flopping his entire review that they were good. As he has a tendency to dislike headphones with soundstage, image and great detail. The guy gives the 560S the best review he’s ever given headphones and says they are the best they are the ones and the 490 Pro comes out improving on every aspect of the 560S and DMS says the 650s are better. It’s honestly amazing to me. I often wonder if he even listens to the headphones he reviews. But yeah great review/comparison and keep up the good work. You are one of the few guys in this niche that keep it real or push the 650’s every review. I personally can’t handle the 650s dark veiled overly warm compressed sound and its lack of image and soundstage.

Sensitivity is 110 dB (1 kHz / 1 Vrms), not 105. The latter would be quite inefficient and more power-hungry.

Can you do an updated video on headphone pads? It was 3-5 yrs ago. I got the hd490 from your reviews but the depth is hurting my ears, how can i find 3rd party deeper pads for something so new?

the volume is probably tuned digitally, and digital volume works in a logarithmic way afaik, so it makes sense it'll jump like that
