This product only works in Photoshop as of now. It is compatible with all iRacing templates.
I can’t get the illustrator template to line up on photoshop. What do I need to do in order to fix this

So I’m using the template and when I try to export the only options I get for export are GIF, JPG, and PNG. Anyone know how to fix it for a TGA option
What software are you using? PNG will sometimes work btw.

I can’t get the body to change colors and I’ve been trying for 3hrs how to get an image online for a sponsor like he did and how to edit. Can someone help me I’ve bought some products and I’m completely lost. So I’ve finally figured a way to change the color of the design on the doors but the design is still the same on the hood as the old preset color. How do I change that?

Does your templates using ai copy one side to the other for eact copy? I’ve been using gimp but I’m thinking using your templates and Ai May be much better choice
They do not copy from one side to the other but they do automate the process of lining everything up on adjacent panels.
It was a differant dimension canvas
How did it paste perfect inline once you copied it?

Unfortunately, it’s not possible with GIMP. However, Photopea.com is a free photoshop alternative that will work!

It won’t let me change the file to a targa when saving it, it only lets it be saved as “PSD Files”. Any suggestions?
Instead of saving you need to click save a copy. This was part of an update a few months back.

No, but they do work with Photopea.com
You gave me a psd file...can't get this to work. Wasted 10 bicks
Please email support@heatwavedesigns.net The psd file is so you can edit the paint and add your number and sponsors. You would then need to save as a tga file to upload to trading paints.

@@STICKFIGURERACING I think png should work. We use photoshop and are unfamiliar with GIMP.
@@SimWrapMarket ok i was able to do that but where would my spec map file be? MIP file? as in the video you said you sent 2 files but I only got one PSD file.
@@STICKFIGURERACING when you save the spec map tga file to the car on iRacing it generates the mip file. I have video on this channel that shows how to do it.

if i open up a new scheme and try to save it says "Could not save a copy as "" because the file is already in use or was left open by another application. is there afix for this

does this method work the same way with the vector smart template? cause i had to put my logos on in photoshop and not illustator cause i didnt know how to get the files over to photoshop to spec map them.I am new to this only done a few cars and only do them for myself and cousin thanks

Awesome little tip, I hated having to go through 50 folders to get it up on the screen.

How come you put num?
This removes the iRacing stamped numbers so you can run a custom number.

Love the video and Appreciate the Tips, but when I do this process on the regular iRacing template on photoshop the spec map shows up through my Decals (Number and Sponsor Decals). It may just be me because i am a noob with photoshop but idk. If you could help me out that would be great.

When you do the bucket fill with the true white and black, do you click on the photo of the car? When I do it it does not change the color on the little box on the right side like yours.
