Hi, did the motor unit on the 6008 actually bother you back then? I have just had a camera rebuilt on this model and the 5008S that runs without the motors for the lens. Adjusting everything by hand (what else). Feels very good to me, but haven't shot a reel with it yet.

@@super8173 I stupidly ran mine on NiCads so slow running or film jamming became an issue until I built a 'belt battery pack' with an extra battery in series to get the proper voltage to the motor under load. I remember a red LED in the viewfinder would light if the voltage was low and so long as it was not on, everything worked as it should.

Hey Maxime, sorry for my late reply - you are actually the first to post a comment on youtube ;-) The shot was taken with a Nizo 801 on Ektachrome 100D (which I offer for sale on Etsy). The film is slightly underexposed. I used an Ektachrome 100D for the first time. since it has a small exposure latitude as a positive film, the exposure by the camera is very individual in each case. i test all cameras with a film. if it is ok, i sell it. But if the film is exposed incorrectly, the camera has to go to the workshop. this often happens with canon cameras, less often with nizo. So: you will only get this film with this nizo, the interaction is unique. But what i have also seen is that the shots of the Bauer A 512 and A 508 cameras actually always look like what you see on this film. the bauer cameras expose the Ektachrome like 160 ASA. This means that it is somewhat underexposed, which leads to the very strong colors. if the image is a bit too dark for you, this can be corrected during scanning. any good specialist company can make the scan. i always have my films scanned at screenshot in berlin. there you can also say whether you want to have masked scans (i.e. without seeing the edge) or open gate. i hope this has helped you a bit for now....
