I hated Rose but not for sexist or racist reasons... Her character was just poorly written and too goofy for my taste. But i also disliked the whole new Trilogy especially Rian Johnson's Movie so what does i know ... 🤷‍♂️

While i absolutely loved Kenneth Branagh's portrail of Poirot, i do have the feeling that Death on the Nile was an absolute snoozefest... I hagen't seen it yet but i have high hopes that A Haunting in Venice is going to be better than whatever this was.

I loved the game as well, it's a masterpiece and i have to replay it at least once a year for the great story, amazing and diverse settings and the fun gameplay, i started off hating the first part ( altho i never played it) but after my husband got me the second part i got hooked and had to play the first as well as the DLC to it... They're both true masterpieces and i absolutely love them, i can't wait for part 3 and hope it will live up to the previous two.

I had a few problems with Last Jedi but I still enjoyed the film overall, but Rise of Skywalker feels like they panicked and tried to pander to all the complaints but ended up pleasing neither side. It's really disappointing like you said, especially as someone who appreciates the prior two films, I just pretend the Duel of the Fates script is the canon version

The genetic resemblance clumsy excuse is not clumsy at all. I look like my grandfather on my mother's side. He had four sons and none of them looked like him. None of my cousins on my mother's side look like him. Genetic resemblance can skip a generation.

Well, even if the characters' needs in 2 and 3 are more difficult to understand than the first one, there's always one thing: Audiences need to pay attention. I get that this is entertainment but that doesn't mean turning your brain off.

Let me preface with saying I have avoided the live action - I pretend it doesn't exist. I didn't know they introduced chi as a force used in the movie. Literally that one introduction makes the entire movie less credible. The way she was depicted as wild and powerful as a child already gives her masculine characteristics which lends to diminish the fish out of water set up. A big part of the movie is her learning how to fight, fit in, and be a warrior despite never given the chance to explore those roles. They really just did the movie dirty in the live action and exasperates what I say after every disney remake: if they're changing most of the movie why didn't they just make a different movie. It's disrespectful to their classics.

The movies made in the 90’s and 00’s stand out so much more because of the generally poor quality of today’s movies. The writing of those older movies is generally so much better than what we are getting now. Today movies are more about pushing a message than telling a story.

All 5 of the pirates of the Caribbean movies were awesome! We were over spoilt, very glad about this and that I was able to see these in the cinemas 😁😄

It's a shame after pirates 3, the series kind off goes downhill, Gore Verbinski was such a great director. And although pirates 2 and 3 had some flaws, they were fun to watch regardless

tbh the decision to not show shaun killing the guy cemented for me that marvel storytelling will never be anything more than covardly. they cannot have *actual* complex characters and heroes that have made killed people, not on screen at least. these movies are bloodless in the most derogatory sense of the word

It describes a setting where there are robots or high technology, but it's not telling you what kind of story it is. You can tell a romance story or a murder mystery story all set in a future with robots and space ships.

I loved the movie and books for different reasons. The movie is a compelling sci-fi action that keeps me engaged and entertained while the book is an absolutely riveting and compelling read about the steps needed for proper A.I. integration as well as the consequence even if we were to implement these safe guards or if they were removed. It's one of the greatest sci-fis I've ever read. Im also currently reading The Foundation and i gotta say after Heinlein, Asimov is my favorite sci fi author
