He knows he can't fight against the Grimm part infesting him. Also, the silver eye looks like it's bleeding, or rather crying.

I genuinely don't understand how people can say that they never had any feelings for each other or anything like that up until volume 9 I recently got into the series and watched it all and I watched it spoiler-free I had no knowledge about it except for like the characters like I knew who Ruby was but that's it really and literally for so long I was looking forward to them getting together and just waiting for it to happen and when it happened I was so happy and excited

Mostly agree, except I'd have 9 right up there with 7, and 8 would probably be bellow 3. Overall, I definitely agree with there being a clear barrier between 1, 2, 4 and 5 compared to 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9.

Okay here’s my honest rating of Rwby volumes. I lied I’m only giving you the best and worst of Rwby. BEST HANDS DOWN: Volume 2 eps 9 and 10 only. Dr Oobleck hands down carried imo this season. His mere question of asking why the team wished to be Huntresses is what made me love him so much and give Rwby a chance to continue watching. To me he perfectly stated the means of being a huntress/huntsman. “A job you all signed up for”. Oobleck in ep 9 of the season found that each of the members from Team Rwby only wanted to be huntresses for their own gain than for the greater good. His question to them is what has Weiss, Blake, and Yang question themselves about why they’re even training to be a huntress against wanting something for themselves in life. Oobleck in just 2 episodes became my favorite character in ALL OF RWBY. This to me is the best of all of Rwby because Dr Oobleck’s character of a true huntsman sets the tone of why Huntsman and Huntresses are regarded as who they are: Not heroes, but selfless individuals fighting for the greater good. THE WORST HANDS DOWN (HEAVILY IN MY OPINION): Volume 9. Im sorry. This whole season just didn’t need to happen. If Ruby and the others had went to Wonderland, where are the people that also fell???? Why is something Rwby has constantly faced and risen up from again another problem? This whole season in my opinion was just to try and force character development alongside pointless filler (eg. Neo and the Gods Light and Dark) Bonus Unpopular opinion: Sun and Blake were better together. Sun saved Blake from herself and got repaid by being friendzoned. Bumblebee didn’t even make sense at all. (Fanbase surprisingly also affected Rwby…)

It hurts so much seeing her depressed in later seasons, i miss volume 1 to 3

I think I understand why Ruby’s fighting style changed, it’s supposed to represent her changing as a person, she thought she needed to change to be better but finally realized that she was perfect the way she was, and once she realized that her fighting style went back to the way it was in the first few volumes
