    Big thank you sir. I do all the maintenance on my own bikes but I just got a Guzzi 850 Centenario with 900 miles on it. Figured since this was my "nice" bike, I'd call in to get a quote for an oil change, final drive oil change and to check my valve lash real quick from the Piaggio folks. Got quoted $720! That seems kind of spendy to me. I suppose I'll just keep doing what I always have done. Thanks for reassuring me that this was even easier than all my other motos!

      @wideopenmoto Před 19 dny

      Of course a press would be great in this situation, which I do have. But your average do it yourself person probably doesn’t. And in this case this would be the best way. Done hundreds of bearings this way and never once had an issue installing or down the road after hard use.

      @wideopenmoto Před měsícem

      I’ll he honest I don’t remember 100%, but I don’t think that is required. But likely if the high beam isn’t working, it’s your bulb, or the high beam fuse. Pretty easy fix…

      Thanks I currently have my bike permit with 19 hours on it for 605 miles. I currently need to do my first tuneup in which I wish I could give it myself but I’m not that confident I’m a baby learning 200.Duke regret buying the bike, but for now I will do in regards to the test and get service and anxious and I can’t concentrate properly until I’m fully relaxed. I watched a bunch of videos and basically just looks like they’re gonna check my signals my switches, and then make me drive straight line, slow speed, more faster, speed without going out of the lines and without falling and then it looks like counterclockwise twice or swerve between the cones and then come counterclockwise. Come back in the line then it looks like they have me go back in the lines opposite direction twice and then come straight back out, but I’m going to San Isidro DMV tomorrow because the DMV is completely packed and I never been to San Isidro, I will try to drive tonight just to see what it looks like

    • @wideopenmoto
      @wideopenmoto Před měsícem

    Whata the difference between Warp9, KKE, and Milk Raceing? Is warp 9 and KKE worth the extra $500? I'm a future buyer of an ultra Bee on supermotos

      Warp 9 wheels are known in the motorcycle industry as a great quality product. The wheels come ready to bolt on, including brake rotors and sprocket. And all warp 9 wheels come with their lifetime guarantee which basically says if anything breaks, you send them the wheel and $60 and they will repair or replace the wheel. What it really comes down to is the quality of the materials, and I’ve used warp 9 and sold dozens of wheels and never had an issue with any of them. When you’re ready to pull the trigger on a set let me know and we’ll get you the best price possible, and I can have them shipped directly to you (if you are outside of California there is no sales tax either)

    Great video, just did the water pump seals on my 07 crf250r and have a feeling I put them in facing the wrong way because it’s leaking out of the weep hole

      So the cup side should face the fluid (this is on all seals). So your yours, the flat side of the water seal will face the flat side of the oil seal. If they are correct and still leaking, inspect your impeller shaft!

      what if i have only one seal on my bike ? on the water pump side, inside cover there is just a shaft and nothing more, also seal was sited cup side towards inside not outside like on you'r video@@wideopenmoto

      Some bikes are different. So it depends on the bike. But most bikes have 2 seals, one cup side faces coolant, and one cup side faces oil. If there is one seal, it’s possible the one seal is cupped on both sides

      Would have been nice to see the removal of the impeller and shaft. Mine doesn’t want to come out at all. Still very helpful tips so thanks! 2014 crf250
