These two Norwegian fishing boats were filmed when Teigenes pumped herring with Herøyhav, the fishing took place just outside Nordreisa which is located between Tromsø and Alta in Norway.

If I want an orchestral concert I'll go to a music site. When I watch a fishing video, I expect to hear sounds of boat, crew and weather, not be given a concert even though it's OK as far as concerts go.

You think this ship is grabbing lots of fish. The Germans have a ship that takes 100 tons of herring in 1 pass & the ship processes 5000 tons in 1 trip
....dude the Germans has nothing that this vessel can't do when it comes to the quantity in one catch. The fishing vessel you are talking about is bigger just in order to carry bigger load of frozen fish and it has a fish processing factory onboard. That has nothing with how much the vessel can catch in the net. The bigger carrying capacity has only with that the Germans generally must go far away from their own coasts to catch some volume of fish, while this Norwegian vessel is back in their home port and deliver the fish within hours. Generally when it comes to fishing vessels they are specific designed for their use/purpose and Norway is a world leader on these things ...and that includes more or less all the equipment and fishing net/fishing gear. So if you see a modern fishing vessel in Germany the equipment on board is imported from Norway were it is developed and produced.... Germany has nothing like that...
my dream is to buy a modern fishing boat but is 2 million dollars enough?
For this size of vessel you must at least multiply that with 10x.... ...hence start saving for 20-30 million US dollar you will need.... good luck....

@@FX_MANOR ....ok...you can believe whatever you want ....but it speaks a lot about your insight on the matter ...or rather mostly of lack of it.... The vessel in the video is 75,4 meter long and was delivered in 2016. Hence it is still a top modern boat (including it's equipment). Norway is a world leading shipping nation, including development and production of equipment for the maritime industry. So while Germany is a world leader on cars, Norway is so on advanced and specialized high-tech ships and equipment. You can get a ship (build like a barge) ....like in north-America (for example) for lower price ....but it really shows in quality and sea capabilities. You get what you pay for. So sadly there happens accidents with loss of ship and crew ....and then they blame the sea/weather, instead of realising it is self-inflicted damage because they use sub-standard boats with a sea capability which is just crap. The safety standards onboard is next to non-existing ...due to the culture and low level of competence.... I have been on the west coast of Canada and in Alaska. What I saw there of the boats used there was for me troublesome.... It was like being back in the stone age. Just to give an idea of the cost of these vessels.... The vessel in this video was build by the Norwegian company VARD (I am quite sure about that). In 2018 the same company delivered a trawler to Shetland (UK). That vessel was smaller than the one in the video ....and the cost was around 40 million US dollar. I also know that last year did VARD land a contract for delivering a trawler to a business in northern-Norway. The cost for that one was around 66 million US dollar.... So again good luck if you want to buy a next to new vessel of this size and standard today for 20 million ....and what you would get for your 2 million have I not much idea about ....maybe have some fun for that money....

Really, where is the love for this one person, this one guy who is putting a lot of their own mulla toward the building cost of this scientific endeavour for the betterment of humanity? That's more than I can say about anything I have done lately. At least it's not another billionaires party boat. At least this boat is starting out with a well defined purpose; you've got to give the guy that.
